Keith David has a very prolific acting resume - I had no idea he had so many film and tv roles! I really love his speaking voice - he was so good as the narrator of A&E’s “City Confidential.” One of my fave true crime series ever 👍

I am so sorry that you encountered that lady who was rude. Not all Wisconsinites are like that. Most of us are quite accomodating. The Crusher was an awesome wrestler. My grandma's favorite on AWA wrestling because she was actually a bouncer at a bar herself at one time. My grandma was not a tiny lady. She also worked on the undercoating line at American Motors in Kenosha.

Awesome video, Jordan! Milwaukee and Kenosha has some great talents! Spencer Tracey, Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Orson Wells, etc. Da Crusher was great and a great guy! My best friend growing up, had all the wrestlers autographs and pictures on her bedroom wall. She never missed a match at Milwaukee's Arena!

Hey! You're in my stomping ground! Hope you enjoyed your time in South East WI! Mars Cheese Castle is the best. Hope you got to to have some Spotted Cow (beer) while you were there. I remember watching the Crusher on All Star Wrestling which aired on local tv station WVTV Channel 18 in MKE. The Milwaukee County Historical Society building downtown paid tribute to both Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams upon their separate passings by spelling out their first names in the windows of the building in rememberance.

I was in NYC on business around '98 and over the course of two days I ran into Robin Williams and then Henry Wrinkler. They were both incredibly and overly nice, very accommodating. Henry was quick and there were many people. But I was sitting on a bench outside my hotel next to this man with a large beard and a ball cap - Robin Williams. He chatted with me for a good several minutes. Specifically about the experience of NY and it being my first time. I had so many questions, but it was a regular two guys conversation and didn't want to ruin that. And I'm thankful I didn't because it's been an important memory I've cherished. Usually I get pretty star struck, but thankfully I was able to maintain my composure lol.

Thanks for coming to Milwaukee! The actual brewery shots in Laverne and Shirley took place at the Miller Brewery in California. Nothing was filmed at a Milwaukee brewery. There was a Schlitz brewery just North of the Fiserv Forum but it got tore down around 2010. The area is called Schlitz Park now. Lakefront Brewery is relatively new and probably opened in the 90s. Lakefront Brewery's only real connection to Laverne & Shirley is they supposedly bought and used the bottling line from the Miller Brewery in California that was shown in the credits (where the glove is on a bottle). But a couple years ago they stopped bottling and now only can, so they sold the bottling line to a brewery in Mexico. They still do some Laverne & Shirley schtick with their tour (i.e. play the theme, have people dressed up as them and stand on a pallet on a forklift). Sadly there was very little shot in Milwaukee at all. Most of the outdoor/street shots were on the Paramount Studios street set. People estimate the street where their downstairs apartment was supposed to be but there's nothing there that resembles it.

I used to live in Milwaukee. I’ve seen the Crusher wrestle many times. I’ve been to South Milwaukee and I’ve never seen that statue. It must be newer since I moved. Back in the 1970s, the Claw was another big wrestler in Milwaukee. Jim Carrey copied what the Claw did in the movie, Liar, Liar.

My husband was born in south Milwaukee same with his mom, his mom and Reggie were cousins. Its funny because they all kinda look a like...My husband looks a bit like him but his uncle Ralphy looks just like Reggie. Lots of R first names in that family. I was shocked at rhe lack of zoning laws first time i was in the Milwaukee area. A residential area..and a bar in the middle of the street. So odd.
