This new KWOW style is so much better!! I teach English in Korea so I can relate to the videos that have a culture segment easier; and those that don't live here can have a much more intimate understanding. Also, I hope you keep the format where you are hosting most of the show and your different characters only support. All-in-all, great work!

Yea they do. I actually got back from Korea a few weeks ago, and female workers in Emart (a commo supermarkt in Korea) were wearing Hanbok for the promotion of Korean Thanks Giving (Chuseok) They also wear them for a lot of traditional ceremonies

Informal: 천만에 (Cheonman-eh) Formal: 천만에요 (Cheonman-ehyo) SUPER formal (honor): 참 잘 오셨습니다 (Cham jal ohsyeoss-seubnida) You would rarely use the last one, only towards teachers, principles, and friends parents if you want to seem very respectful. Most common is the second one. Hope I helped ^^

It's quite simple : when you are born, you are directly 1 year old. And when the new year passes you also gain one year. So the difference between your korean and international age can be one or two years :)

What is the proper way to begin and end a letter/email? I know you already taught us "yoboseyo" for answering the phone, but how do we end a telephone conversation? And what does "yoboseyo" mean? I know this question would probably imply giving us a word list... but what are all the titles used in the period dramas? Are those mostly archaic now? (For example, to the best I can differentiate the sounds, "nowdi," "daega," "agusshi" etc.)

I have a question- if the person you are speaking to is only maybe a few months or weeks older than you, do you still have to put the "yo" at the end of the sentence and make it polite? Or can you still speak informally with you, like for example meeting a classmate who is 3 months older than you? Thank you
