My wonderful Lietuva! I am Italian, precisely Neapolitan, but it's been almost three years I've fallen in love with this little wonderful Baltic gem that was once the widest European country. I've had two trips thorugh Lietuva so far, I've visited the Baltic shoreline up to Vilnius, passing through Kaunas, Trakai and many other places. There's something magical about this country, when you visit it for the first time having almost no clue what it hides, you do get an unknown good vibe that is typical of all those places and peoples who counted in history and who stood out in the centuries. I am a historian, so I immediately sought to master my knowledge of Lithuanian history and now I coudl brag about being an expert at it! No wonder my upcoming bachelor's degree's topic is medieval Lithuania, from Mindaugas up to the battle of Tannenberg that Lithuanians call Žalgiris. I've got severa Lithuanian friends, also a couple of exes along the way and I can say that Lithuanians are fantastic too. I have got only good memories and I can't wait to come back. Just a little word of advice for Benjamin and Johnny: treat Lithuanians as such, without trying to put them in comparison with Slavs and other people. They are Baltic, they are of a different kind. When Lithuanians understand you are aware of their heritage and their importance in history, they will open up much more easily. The label of minor country is not suitable at all for Lietuva and we shall all recover and appreciate that mighty and pivotal heritage the Soviets tried to erase shamefully. Greitai pasimatysime, Lietuva! From Italia, with love!

What a lovely comment. You are welcome at any time. I feel the same about Italy, love visiting there but I've never been to Napoli, I only discovered Lombardy, Liguria and a bit of Tuscany, I'm definitely gonna discover more of Italy soon.

@@ZhylvisLT I thank you very much! You're always welcome to Italy as well. I recommend you to find out the South thoroughly, which is the actual core of Italian culture. I met Bald by chance in Warsaw Airport a few months ago. First I wasn't sure it was him and I was a little apprehensive to approach him because I wasn't sure he wanted people bothering him. But I was happy to find out that not only was it really him, but he was more than happy to chat, he answered questions I had about his KZbin career, talked about his personal life and took interest in mine, we joked, had banter. I wanted to leave him be (he actually said he was taking a break from KZbin at the time), but he offered to take a selfie with me. Truly genuine and all round lovely person. I wish him well on all his journeys

@@cokedoutmarkhamill8179 It is awesome here. The mentality is the problem. It starts in a lot of families where children are just thought self-hate by their ignorant parents. Literally, most of the children in rural areas when asked about their future dreams would say emigration because that's what they were thought by their parents. Maybe it's the transition trauma or something, but a lot of us are just incapable of seeing changes and blame their life problems on politicians. Thak god, my mom thought me better.

Ok, this is was my favorite Johnny & Bald Lithuania video. This is the closest to a Vilnius experience like mine. Brought my teen son to Vilnius in 2019. We hired a U of Vilnius History grad student to give us a Soviet History tour. If you did that you will see definitely some Soviet history there. As this video shows, Lithuanian people are friendly, cool and awesome AF! 🇺🇸❤️🇱🇹
