"Meeting Mr. Christmas" is a holiday romance movie that likely features a charming storyline centered around Christmas, love, and family, typical of holiday films. With cast members such as Greta Carew-Johns, Madison Smith, Jamie M. Callica, and Eileen Pedde, the movie would follow heartwarming themes about relationships and the magic of the holiday season. In the film, Greta Carew-Johns may play the female lead who encounters challenges or changes in her life during the festive period, while Madison Smith or Jamie M. Callica could be the romantic interest, adding an element of love and connection. Eileen Pedde likely plays a supportive role, either a family member or a mentor figure. As with many Christmas movies, expect uplifting moments, cozy settings, and a happy resolution.

Something about these movies really bugs me. When you're having food, eat it! Two turkey sandwiches, one uneaten and the other one missing one bite, and it gets taken away 🤷🏻♂️

Just to clarify: It is not a real tradition to burn a billy goat in Sweden. However, the city of Gävle traditionally sets up a giant goat made of straw on the central city square and it has burned down more often than not. The police try to protect it, it is doused with anti-flammable stuff but this does not always help. So far, it has survived 19 out of 56 years. Of old, a goat delivered the christmas presents and not a Santa Claus. I have a tiny straw goat that stands next to the Christmas tree every year. We do NOT burn it.... 🙂

Thankyou, that was an interesting tradition...or custom. Is that the same country that has the almond pudding tradition...1 almond, in a pudding and whoever gets it, will be the next bride?
@christopherx74287 ай бұрын
@@Marylmac Or groom. Yes, at least my grandmother (born 1899) put an almond in the rice pudding. I have not kept this tradition. After eating a Swedish Christmas table, trust me: You cannot eat rice pudding on top of that! 🙂 The goat delivering the Christmas presents was a thing maybe up til and including the 19th century or so and Santa Claus gradually took over in the early 20th. Not sure, but it might have something to do with the fact that the god Thor had his carriage drawn by two goats.

@christopherx7428 We should know this because IKEA sells the small straw goats in its Christmas collection.

Yes, the Swedish local tradition in the town Gävle is to BUILD a giant Christmas straw goat, since 1966. The burning is just criminal - severe infliction of damage. A better description would be that a local serial arsonist, that have been copycatted many times, repeatedly tries to scorch or burn down the straw goat, so far succeeding slightly more than not. A few times the perpetrator has been caught and sentenced, the last time to 6 months in jail and $10k in damages

Well,I think that Bailey is enough rude,she already thinks that Sophie has nothing to do but job on Christmas,without thinking that she,maybe,has other plans...But ok,she is the boss,but all that seems almost nasty...Of course this is necessary for the movie...but I didn't like it!Just my opinion,though..

I was shocked and appalled by the cruelty and selfishness of the so-called "heroine", treating the doctor as a "subject" like that and being so duplicitous and deceitful to him. And what a cuck he is, overlooking her disgusting behaviour so easily. Were we supposed to see this as a story of redemption and forgiveness?

This is just bloody stupid. So inconsiderate of her family to keep on talking about Christmas when they knew it just brings back painful memories to her. Come on, 4 years is still a short period for anyone to forget something that awful in their life. Family should be supportive and understanding, not pushing this Christmas celebration on someone who clearly isn’t comfortable celebrating it. Don’t get me start on the doctor, like seriously your so called traditional style celebration was a failure, thus setting back on the funds from donation. When people giving ideas you should listen and try them out first, not shut them out as if you know everything.

Also, he says he doesn't even know who she is!! She literally told you, repeatedly, who she is, what she does and why, wtf did you expect 🙄
@Southamericangirl425 ай бұрын
She's a grown woman for Pete's sake. If four years isn't enough to get over herself then I don't know what is. She's simply selfish. Christmas is about fellowship and tradition. She should find a deserted island to jet to for Christmas and stay there. That would've made a much better story.
