I've dreamed of having a white fluffy Pomeranian for SO long. I even put one in my old intro because I knew someday that dream would come true. Earlier this year, I did get to welcome a Pomeranian puppy into my life. Her name was Lola, but she died tragically only six days after I got her due to pest prevention medication called Revolution. I was devastated. Months passed and I knew someday Lola would send me a new fluffy friend. That's this story: meeting my new best fluffy friend Furpunzel.
Getting a puppy is the perfect occasion to vlog, so come along with my sister and me as we pick up my new puppy and bring her home for the first time! Because of what happened last time, I had so many mixed emotions and didn't know what to expect when I met her. It wound up being more difficult than I thought...

The pain of loosing a dog is crazy, deep and scars the heart for life. I lost my dog after 17,5 years of friendship. I got a new one a month after. The pain and loss wasn’t the best state for me to get a new one. But I had to accept that the pain wouldn’t go away and the love for the new puppy would grow. It will never be the same but it will be something new. But it’s painful. I saved all of my old dogs things in a huge basket with a lid. Some things are in plastic bags because they smelled like him. I let my new puppy have very few things that were my old dogs. It’s been 2 years and now I can say it’s actually better. My heart is less tormented by the pain and the love for the puppy is growing and growing and that feels amazing. ♥️ good luck with everything. I know it’s hard to just live in the moment and not live in the grief. There is nothing better than the love of a dog 😍

I’ve had poodles. My first one was a red small poodle and my current little guy is a small apricot poodle. Ludde reached 17,5 years (a sweet old man) Moses is 2 years old (and completely crazy)

You have an adorable pom!! I remember when my black pom died. She died 14 days after her 14th birthday. I was devastated to be sure. The emergency vets said she suffered a shower of blood clots in her little lungs. Took me some time but I was able to start looking for another. I now have a beautiful tri-colored or what they call a parti pom. Kaia is a wonderful spazz. I miss Mia so much, but Kaia helps those moments come and go easier. Much luck with your new baby.

I was this way when my rat died. They are the tiniest creatures with the biggest hearts, they steal it in an instant. When I adopted two more dumbos, I cried for hours. That was the most devastating thing that’s happened in a long time. That little rat was the only reason I woke up in the morning when he was still here, I was so depressed and he kept me from going off the deep end. I’m so sorry you had to go through this but that tiny, furry, little creature will never leave your heart.

I have been giving my dog revolution for about 11 months now and I haven’t had any adverse reactions yet (he was already 1 and a half when I got him). I am definitely a bit hesitant now… out of curiosity what are you currently using instead as a heart worm preventative and a flea and tick repellent?

Aww she's so precious! I know how you feel, I still freak out when my Maltese, Binky, gets reverse sneeze attacks, especially after he choked on a kibble pretty badly once. There's so much unregulated toxic junk out there being sold as safe to our pets, and I'm so sorry about what happened to Lola 😞. I'm extra careful with Bink. I feed him Just Food For Dogs instead of kibble (after the choking incident and because wet food is just so much healthier) and use Neem oil instead of putting pesticides on him, and try to keep everything as natural as possible. I recommend checking out Mercola pets for all the natural alternatives to the commercial junk out there. Sending you both lots of love! 💖

Hey! I'm glad you got a new puppy! I would just like to make a notice, in case you didn't know or had not consider it yet. If your dog is acting strange (for example in 1:42), your first reaction shouldn't be to pick her up like this. It could be very dangerous (choking on food etc). So, if your habit is to pick up a dog with it's back towards the ground, you should change it so that the tummy is facing towards the ground (when picking her up). Sorry for any mistakes, english is not my first language. Best of luck with her!
