Exactly. He was not a citizen, even probably undocumented, didn't have a job and lost hope. I know dad loves him by the way he hugged him. He was hoping mom, an American citizen, could work on getting the kids back but she was not able due to her drug situation. I don't think your friend has to say your dad wasn't genuine. Dad warmly welcomed him, and took him to mom's house. PrettyboyAlfredo has fogiven them and that's the most important. Some men are not very expressive and dad definitely still has difficulty expressing himself in the English language. Just give him a chance to prove himself. The fact that he remember the little intrecate details about his son, your birthday, your birthmark, and what happened when he lost you. He cares... The reaction you saw in your first meeting him after many years, was his happiness for you, and what you become, and your success... If it was anything different , he would have tried to contact you years ago, and he would of asked you for something... Both your parents love you... and Im glad you are at the point in your life and the person you are that you are able to forgive them, and have an open ear and mind to listen, and try to understand, and agin to forgive, and give them and yourself a chance to move forward from the pass and move towards the future and try and be a family... But clearly it was better for you and your siblings to not be with them. Everything happened for a reason. But I think your dad and mom can be misunderstood by us and them. Maybe have another conversation with them but not on camera. I think that also has an effect on the conversation. That could have effected your fathers way of communicating. Forget all that, their biggest favor was giving him life. He wouldn’t exist that if they were not exactly who they are. Whether they made many good or bad decisions, every decision they made, one of them helped bring this influential man into existence. Oh, and the mother of course who went through massive pain and sacrifice carrying him in her stomach for months and months, then going through the labor process. All the pain Fredo talks of, I doubt he’ll ever experience labor pain 😩 Also, I don’t think it was a happy day for her letting go of her children, Im pretty sure it was like hell to experience what she was going through to do something like this. But of course, he only knows his own pain, he wont understand what she had to go through

@@justinfernandez1436 bro some people just lose themselves and they are no longer thinking like your average civilized person. Things like drugs and alcohol addiction completely take away from people’s dignity and ability to sustain a responsible life. Someone who can’t cope with their own selves definitely can’t raise a child, thats a way bigger task. There are documentaries of parents abusing and killing their children out of hatred because they lost themselves, at least his parents didn’t do something like this and ruined his life completely keeping him under a distorted household.

I had a reunion with my biological mother a few months ago. She gave me away at birth. I was lucky enough to have phenomenal adoptive parents. They basically fed me with a silver spoon. My biological mother was very young and unable to provide for me. She had 3 boy before me and was only 19 when she had me. I was the only one to get adopted. When I met her for the first time it was VERY emotional. She cried, and I cried. The weirdest part was to realize that I was so hurt deep down once I saw her. I built up resentment. We communicated for a while, but I began to feel off. I was t feeling the relationship. I didn’t want to talk otp. I didn’t want to meet up. I began to just hurt and not wanna be bothered. It turned into a “see, i did GREAT without you” type of thing. I eventually cut off communication. Fast forward to about a few weeks ago, my wife and I began to converse and I realized I may have made a mistake. I felt as though i didn’t give it a chance. I began to pray on it. And since praying, I’ve just been having faith in God to lead me in the right direction with how I want to move forward, because I know if I go back into it, I’m not allowing myself to come out. I’m going to commit. Seeing this has really helped with my decision. Thanks brodie🙏🏾 and ya “brotha” right. There was NO genuineness in it. Plus, out of all things, ma dukes says “you said you gone buy me a house”. PUHHLEASE. Meeting my biological parents only made me thankful for my adoptive parents. On a level that will NEVER be able to be explained

Y’all keep taking up for the dad saying he’s latino or there’s a language barrier I understand all that HOWEVER. There is compassion and understanding and accountability in EVERY ethnicity. Some people are good and some people are bad no matter the ethnic background. Not saying the parents are bad but the dad gave off the vibe that he was purely star struck. Then asked for a job. You didn’t help raise this man at all and to ask him for anything really had me flabbergasted at him. The nerve and the audacity. I felt a more genuine connection from the mother although the whole “when you were little you said you were buy me a house” statement made me look at her very sideways too. Out of the two though I felt it more from the mother. That friend was EXACTLY right. I dnt give a damn what y’all say. Love is telling a person the truth no matter how bad it may hurt.
