It's NOT the spirituality and witchcraft in and of itself that's a huge redflag; it's the fact that Brandon's mom, who we've known to have a pretty consistent personality, is SUDDENLY dating a girl half her age out of nowhere, and her personality has completely changed to revolve around this new "spirituality" concept. It's very obvious from anyone with some degree of life experience that Jen is an older, stunted, lonely woman who is being preyed upon by a younger, manipulative girl. For example, imagine having a sister or something, right? And for a week or so, they don't talk to you, they're always leaving the house, they're always texting or calling someone, and they seem super distracted. Then, a week later, you check in on them to see what's up, and their entire room, which used to be filled with music posters and decorations and stuff was replaced with a bunch of crosses, pictures of Jesus, bibles, and whatever. On top of that, you also find some strange girl sitting on her bed, kissing her. Now I don't have a problem with christianity; in fact, I'm pretty religious myself, but if my brother for example suddenly had a 180 shift in life and began worshipping god super heavily, I would DEFINITELY be a little concerned for this rapid change in personality. So you ask your sister, "who the hell is she?", and she tells you it's her new girlfriend. This ALSO surprises you, because for your whole life, your sister has done nothing but chase after boys, and she would even write about which One Direction member she wanted to marry when she was younger. You talk to your sister's new girlfriend to get a feel for her, and you figure out she's super into this weird new christian youth group that believes god is coming back soon, so everyone needs to treat each other super nicely in preparation for his return. It's a little eccentric, but the message is pretty positive, so you think, okay, whatever. Then, as time goes on, you see less and less of your sister, and the sister you grew up with and knew is now a COMPLETELY different person that you no longer recognize. The same in-jokes you used to share no longer make her laugh. The two of you used to stay up late at night watching tv, but she spends all her time hanging out with this new girl. The new One Direction album comes out, and she doesn't even get excited for it. The sister you knew is GONE, and it's been replaced by this new hyper-religious nut that always hangs around with her new girlfriend, praying, and talking about the return of god. Now that I bring up that hypothetical scenario, how would YOU feel if that actually happened to you? I would probably be one hundred percent defensive and untrusting of that new girl if that happened to the people I loved in MY life.

i've always enjoyed watching this channel, but this video and the comment section really don't sit right with me. comedy at the expense of respect for others' beliefs is not comedy... it's just mean spirited. ask yourself, is Jen's relationship or her belief in the law of attraction negatively impacting you? no. it's not. so why are you so upset by it? what happened to being tolerant of others? let people exist and just be nice lol. also stop acting like you know what is best for Jen. we see a very small portion of these people's lives, and what we do see is angled for entertainment first and foremost.
