I can relate to Paul's words so much. So many toxic people came into my life and even hated me for loving KISS. My dad had just passed away in 1976 when I discovered KISS. They helped me cope with life.

Met Paul at least five times. Every single time a total gentleman, totally grounded and fully engaged. One a surreal one on one in the Pantages theater in Toronto. Very thankful for his books and opening up in interviews. I’ve shared one video in particular with innumerable number of patients who have been helped by his story. Nothing but respect.

As a fan since ‘76 Paul has grown to be my favorite member of the band not just because he’s a great singer, songwriter and frontman for the greatest band of all time but because he walks the talk and is a great role model.

The goal for most people is to grow as the human being you want to be. It's no secret Paul has been in therapy at different points in his life and just by this video, he really did the work. I'm so impressed with his wisdom and self awareness, I hope to keep going in that direction. I idolized Paul as a 17 year old kid and respect him as a 59 year old man.

And when Ace is singing it's really monotone and comical. No one knows how they "improved" his voice on the new album.

Gotta say, it's pretty cool to realize that when you ask Paul a substantiative question, he will go on an elaborate and give you his thoughts. Imagine the volume of general "Yes/No" questions he gets asked by fans that he's heard a million times. Gene is the same way, he will carry on an intelligent conversation given an opportunity to do so. Well done.

Take a deeper look into Paul's answer to addressing negativity. "You've done nothing wrong. It's them, not you." This sometimes can into- You don't make mistakes. We can blames someone for anything we don't like." That's a perfect reflection of how he paints himself (and everyone else) in his book.
@HappyMachorino-bd8no
@HappyMachorino-bd8no 5 ай бұрын
Not really. What you confuse are rational discussions with "negativity". Paul said: "there is nothing wrong with fighting". And he is his own harshest critic. Read his book📖 and learn more. Do you really believe a dumb*ss who only blames others could ever become that great, bigger than life? But "Negativity" comes from the 😡haters. Who insult and agitate... And Paul is right: "You've done nothing wrong". And he has done nothing wrong. THE HATE IS IN THE HATER🐍 They are not interested in your "mistakes". No, they want to humiliate and annihilate you psychologically as a person. This has nothing to do with "Who made a mistake at work?"

I cant imagine how awkward and difficult it must be to find the right words for a celebrity to say to a fan that shares like this. not that it bad but fan after fan back to back night after night. they want to say so much to you and let you know how much youve been in their life they feel like they know you and if you dont share the right words or are stand offish our your demeanor doesn't fit what they expect then your an arrogant jerk or whatever cause then that fan if they didnt get the reaction they wanted or needed then they slander you online and/or any chance they get when it comes up to say how bad of a person you are. and the celebrity knows this because its the fans that keep them at the level they want to be and they dont want to loose that momentum or all that work they put into their career. you can tell this guy loves KISS and so do I. my band has opened for alot of huge bands I looked up to so much and had posters of them on my wall and I never knew what to say back stage to them and tried to be all cool like it wasnt a big deal but inside that 15 year old kid was flipping out. I just get it is all im trying to say and glad you got to meet Paul. I wouldnt know what to say to him id probably just faint knowing how much this band means to me too.

I'm sure he was throwing peter and ace under the bus at that time as well. I'd much rather meet peter and ace than the other two Schmucks oh whoops that's one of them right there. Ace's music just blows away.What kiss couldn't do anymore. And you know, it just grinds Pauls and Gene's gears.I love it. Enjoy Paul. And honestly I think peter and ace are more content and more laid back in their lives and with better women than the other two. And then they're both in better places than they've ever been.God bless them , #3 & aceinthehole

I must admit i wondered how PS copes with the terrible things people say.....daily, by the minute. I guess you have to remove yourself from the equation...leaving THEM!
