These artists at the time were always humble. They created a character that went with the music at the time. But deep down they are just humble and kind family men. They definitely became wiser with age. I’m happy to revisit these artists. Today’s artists are corrupt and I don’t think they will change. That’s why I ignore all they are putting out there. But kiss? I’ll watch anything they have done a hundred times just to thank them for being good humans at the end of the day.

Been a longtime KISS fan since the mid 70's. I'll never forget back in the late 70's, while attending high school in New Jersey, finding out that my cousin's wife had attended The Manhattan High School of Arts (upper Manhattan - Washington Heights section), which was Paul Stanley's alma mater. She had her yearbook, which happened to have a great photo of Paul Stanley (Stanley Eisen) without his makeup! Upon begging her to borrow the yearbook many times, she finally relented, and I brought it to my high school during my senior year. I started showing some of my KISS fan classmates in the hallway before class, and before I knew it, I was mobbed outside my locker! I caused a scene! The principal dragged me into his office, and sent me home that day, and asked that I never bring back that yearbook EVER! LOL!

Paul has about 50% hearing loss in one ear, as do I in both ears, and I'm also an old Rock Guitar musician for 50 years. But he did have a device which he had in one ear while playing so he could hear true tones and pitch so he could sing on key, as do many singers these days. They also tuned down their guitars to the HZ range where Paul's hearing was the best and where he could match his voice. But a lot of bands tune down for Rock music as Guitars sound better.
