That's my birthplace ❤,i was born and raised in Yong Peng until my family decided to relocate to Singapore when i was 5. I still go back once in a while to visit my extended families from both sides, especially my aunts and my cousins. I miss the food and the simplicity of the daily life in a small town. Places of worship here are usually booming with locals in smaller towns like churches( when the parish office is open, they can give some history of the town), mosques also offer a wonderful history by the residents, temples both hindu and buddhist also share a lot of stories due to being associated with families during construction.

Mr. Yong Peng gave a very accurate history during British colony and the after-school activities of kids in the 70s/80s haha He's definitely another highlight in your video apart from the papaya auntie 8:07
