In the busy whirlwind of daily life, there is rarely a moment to stop and take in the world. "The Velvet Queen" (La Panthère des Neiges) by Marie Amiguet and Vincent Munier encourages us to do exactly that. Filmed among the highest peaks and wild plains of Tibet, the documentary invites us to follow in the footsteps of the elusive snow leopard and appreciate nature for what it is: sublime. RFI met the filmmakers at the #Cannes Film Festival in July ahead of its release in France on 15 December 2021.
