It reminded me of a magic doorway the way you climbed those steps and came out to snow!! I'm impressed with how relaxed you were about the drone incident (it happens to only the best of us Niall 😎) What a great looking forest and loads of snow too 😊 Enjoying your trend of your final wave by the way!!

Thanks Miriam, the wave is making me smile too 🤣 No point stressing about the drone, what's done is done and nobody died. Once the initial F**K! is out of the way it's time to get over it 🙂

Niall, fantastic walking through the forest at Gortin Glen with so many trails👍 Cool that you ordered up a bit of snow too❄😊 First time hearing of chopsticks droning😊 The statue is pretty cool and new from the last time I was there. That tarmac road to the summit is a lot easier on the eye covered in snow👍

Cheers Gerry, a straightforward but enjoyable walk. The snow definitely added to it. Still giggle about how much the statue made me jump 🤣

Hi Niall. Nice to do a hike in the snow. You are getting handy with the drone now. It really adds to your videos. That's an interesting place to hike, great for children 😁. looking forward to seeing more videos in the new year. 👍

Oops. Sorry about the drone. I didn't here you say that about the drone, I was boiling the kettle for tea at the time and missed it. Hopefully it will be OK and you will be back flying 🙏.

My local stomping grounds. It's a good spot for night hiking after work during these winter months, as long as you don't mind the deer eyes. Small tip if you're in the area again, there's a smaller summit on the other side of the main road called Curraghchosaly (416m) which will give you nice views back towards Mullaghcarn

Class! I'd love to be close enough to make the forest local for me. Funny you mention that summit. My original plan was Mullaghcarn, South Top and then Curraghchosaly but the weather was against me on the top and I had to many things to do on one day. Any local suggestions to get to Mullaghcarn without walking the road next time? Want to go back to tick off the South Top 🙂

Tough luck with the drone. I have dunked one from work in the sea and get it going again after opening it and covering everything with silica cat litter. It dried out nicely and I only had to replace one ESC to get it flying again.

At least mine was in to fresh water. Dji taking it for a free repair assessment so hopefully easy (and cheap!) to fix 🤞
