I had the pleasure of filming Dennis Smith Jr. all throughout high school. He is one of the players had the most fun filming. Tonight he is getting draft and his dream is coming into realization. However, when he was 15 years old not to many people knew about him. Aside from a handful mixtape crews and scouts within the Fayetteville area, nobody had him in the national conversation. To see where he now, with his hard work and persistence, I'm truly a fan.

That came during the summer of his junior and senior year. This video takes place during the Summer of 2013 his Freshman year. He had a lingering ankle injury that keep him from being seen by national scouts. Most of this footage comes from local events. He began to garner national attention during HSOT in 2013 where he battled Seventh Woods and Justin Jackson. I followed Dennis all throughout High School, and at this time he was hardly talked about outside of North Carolina and mixtape guys. Thank you for watching.
