Known errors. 1. There is one major thing is have to point out. When moving outside I should have been rolling a special yellow/orange die. I totally forgot that die. (Thanks Eastbournesean) 2. I’m sorry!!! I noticed something else too! At 2:52:10 or so you moved from the intruder and did not perform a check of the attack on your way out. Defense Plan should have been used later, to look for the Transmitter Control Room. That might have saved the Sentry from going to the top outside building. And speaking of the outside buildings, I do believe when you trigger an intruder after a noise roll, you should have removed the 2 from outside of that building. If you noticed, there is no number two labeled in any of those corridors. That’s similar with the other building: I can’t remember which number isn’t there. Again I love the play through and the explanation. I would love to play a game with you one day. Keep up the great work. See you in the next video!

I’m watching this again. Bairnt, you were on the void seeker side of the laboratory board. You needed 6 knowledge in order to unlock the second weakness of fragile exoskeleton.

To resolve any doubt of dropping heavy objects: Page 25 of the rulebook states that Heavy OBJECTS (such as Intruder Eggs and Corpses) remain on the board and Heavy ITEMS (such as guns/flashlights/wrenches) disappear - their cards are placed at the bottom of their respective decks. I believe it was originally possible to have dropped Heavy ITEMS before to be picked up later during the Kickstarter for the original Nemesis, but it was changed after some playtesting in order to avoid indirect 'trading.'

@@MeetMeAtTheTable Hey, Bairnt. Hope you don't get annoyed with my comments. Just throwing out information so you're good to go on future playthroughs. I was able to find where the rover starts (which should've been more obviously stated in the rulebook in my opinion). On page 31 the diagram shows rover starts in the first level down (next to the Testing Lab in your playthrough). 😎 You also don't roll for noise when you use the rover.

Seen about 90 minutes so far and will watch the rest tomorrow. Your channel is the reason I bought Nemesis and this playthrough is as fun as ever thanks. I haven't played this side of the board yet but am wondering about a couple of things. For the Mars surface area shouldn't you be using the yellow noise dice? Also when you drew the queen token in the bag development stage I'm wondering if you should've added an egg to the nest rather than put an additional adult token in the bag?

To resolve the danger effect, adjacent aliens move toward you or place noise markers in all corridors. Also, all players on the surface have to do the surface event.

You are correct. I do miss the danger symbol intruder move quite a bit. I need to get better at that. I did forget to use the orange die that was a big miss. I would have had more surface events lol. Thanks for catching that blueseqperl. Thanks for watching 😃😃👍

There are play mats available that could help with the glare on camera. They are double sided like the boards 🙂

Hello I would like to ask for one thing which I never saw on youtube. Original Nemesis gameplay but the aftermath version. I believe it is called research mission (it has two exploration tokens on each room). I would like to hear also your thoughts about the research mission. And maybe try to do epilog mode for one of your older gameplays too :)

Hi there!! I'm watching the playthrough, but at 42 minutes, you get the Enviro-suit. I understand it's heavy, but I don't understand why it takes a "hand" slot. Because you wear the suit. It's just weird they made it that way! Maybe it's because of the weight of all the gear?

Yes the enviro suit is one of my favorite items. I think you have it exactly right. It just so heavy that it takes up that slot. At least that’s the way I see it played out. Thanks for the great comments and thanks for watching 😃😃👍

I’m 10 min in and noticed something. The janitor’s objective has a label that says the objective is only valid when there are 3 players or more. You would have to replace his objective with a new one. Not sure if you changed it during the game. I’m in the middle of the initial draw phase

It says on the player help card “2 actions on each players turn” so that means a player can only do 2 actions, even if they have cards left then need to pass, correct?

Great question Daniel. That player card is really misleading. So as it says after you take 2 actions it is the next players turn then they take 2 actions. So once everyone has had a chance to take 2 actions it would return to the first player that player can than take 2 actions if they have cards to do that. You continue to take actions in 2 at a time increments until everyone has passed. You can choose to pass at anytime and you have to pass if on your turn you decide to only do one action. On standard side, to see what the contingencies are in the pool I would go to the alert room (let me know if there are other ways) but as far as I can see there is no alert room on the alternate side, so my question is am I wrong? N how do I check the contingencies in the pool on alternate side? Thanks again

Daniel, the Alert Room on the alternative (Mars Surface) side is in the middle of the table, in section 2. It’s room 017, with a Mask symbol next to it. You follow the same procedure as on the main board side. Discard 2 cards to see one of the false contingencies. Have fun and good luck. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
