Excellent review! I really appreciate you doing these reviews! Very versatile and GSW fiber lasts a long time so they are worth the price. I was glad i didnt see wefts so the density is spot on! I would rather have a wig that suits me, looks good (i.e. not wiggy) and lasts than have a lot of chintzy wigs that i have to do a lot to to "fake it"...keep up the great work! I can't wait to see Lisa and how she measures up with Meg and Freedom! Gotta love those spiky shags!!!❤🎉😊

You are very welcome, Vicki! It could be easy to think these wigs could be meant for smaller heads. You might notice that sometimes I mention in my videos that GSW tend to run a little tighter on me than other brands (except Noriko is very similar in sizing!). But they are mostly all manufactured for average sized heads! And like all manufacturers, you'll find a variation of sizing that will be produced. First, you do an excellent job of showing the versatility of wigs. You make most wigs look much better than the still photos. Here's my problem...I notice that you're now doing A LOT of Godiva wigs, which are pretty expensive. Are you sponsored or are they donating the wigs? That's fine if you are but I would prefer to see a variety of price ranges since most of us can't, or don't care to, pay hundreds for wigs (especially if we like an extensive wig wardrobe). Also, why pay so much for (close to $200 in this case) a very basic cap?

Thank you Mary! I appreciate your willingness to step out and ask your questions! I am sure others will be interested to hear my responses and I'll try to answer them all as best I can. I have been a consultant for GSW for 4 years and have had my business selling wigs to individuals locally since that time. I purchase all my GSW wigs. GSW does not give their wigs to anyone for reviewing, but they will give a wig to a guest who agrees to be part of one of their videos. I first began reviewing only Paula Young wigs because I couldn't find any decent reviews of them--at all--and they were obviously cheaper than so many other wig companies and I was curious why they were so cheap. I reviewed only PY wigs for nearly a year before I started including some of my GSW (and other) inventory. I keep the better wigs for selling to my clients and return the ones that don't meet with my quality control requirements. In my business, I currently carry about 12 brands of wigs to meet all budgets and needs for my clients (the cheapest being Amazon & PY, the most expensive being Raquel Welch). I purchase all the wigs I review with the exception of a few from The Wig Company and a handful of Amazon sellers who have donated their wig in exchange for my review. In these videos I always mention that those wigs were given to me. I have completed training as a Certified Wig Specialist by HairUWear (manufacturer of Raquel Welch, Gabor, HairDo, United Hairlines, Him, Kim Kimble, Great Lengths and HUW Pro). I offer one-on-one instruction/coaching in understanding what wig-wearing is all about, how to choose the right wig, wear it comfortably and how to care for your wigs so they will last longer. I teach my clients why certain wigs cost more and help them learn about the factors that contribute to the differing costs of wigs and provide encouragement during this journey. I also provide the service of restoring wigs, trimming/cutting and personalizing sizing of wigs. I also have a Master's degree in Adult Education and Dental Hygiene and have recently retired from 20 years teaching in the college setting. My business is based in my home for private, by-appointment-only, f2f consultations. I'm in a small town west of Portland, Oregon and my clients have come to see me from California, Idaho and Washington states, as well as from all over Oregon. I have also sold wigs to individuals for funerals (the deceased), for TikTok performers as well as mail order across the nation. I believe that there can be reasons to purchase and wear less expensive wigs as well as wigs that are more of an investment. They serve different purposes and that there is a place for every wig (and manufacturer) at the table. Information is power and it helps us make better decisions and the power to take better control of our finances. So you will see very inexpensive wig reviews mixed in with reviews of higher end wigs. Please don’t stop reviewing GSW wigs. You can take the time to show styling options that Dani and Ro don’t have the time to do in their videos. Personally, I would rather pay a little more for a wig that has a natural feel to it, and that will last a long time if you take care of it. As far as wigs are concerned, you do get what you pay for. Many of the wigs from other companies are much more expensive than GSW, and I’m not sure what the quality of the wig would be like. I have purchased Paula Young, Toni Brattin and hairdo brands. I prefer the GSW to these brands for overall fit, style, texture and ease of styling. Wigs are a personal preference for the purchaser, and I’m sure we all have our favorite wig companies. Keep up the good work, Coco, you do a wonderful job for us.
