You only get free meals (that are made in a factory and tasted disgusting) if you don't work.

Adee All children up to the age of seven get free school meals now. The school I work at cooks lovely meals with local ingredients, prepared on site, not in a factory. Obviously I can't guarantee that's the same in the whole of the UK, but don't be so negative! :)

wow...ur kids are so adorable..... Just wanna share what I do for the morning outfit with my kids. I have two girls, a 6-year old and a 3-year-old. On Sunday night before they go to bed, I have them pick their outfit for the rest of the week and put it on their hangers that are labelled, Monday, Tuesday and so on. Believe me, its a huge time saver and everybody is having a peaceful morning :-)

We use a meal planning service. It's a yearly fee, but so amazing. We cook the main part of each meal for Mon-Thursday each Sunday. That way we are only doing the sides/rice/pasta each night. Also the kids 10 and 7 make their lunch each night on there own. We love the Bento lunch box system! It's fun and very health conscious. We have a lot of accessories with it like rice shapers, cookies cutters and egg molds.

My kids are a bit older - 11, 8,8 -- but I have been doing this little tip for the last few years and its helped. Each night before they go to bed, they have to "do their lunch". What this means, is they have to pick out the snacks they want in their lunch for the next day. Then all I have to do is make sandwiches and add juice boxes and done. It also helps when you have picky eaters, for them to chose what they want themselves.

Love videos like this. Would love to see more. Also grocery shopping videos, meal prep, organization, day in the life etc!!! Once the kids can shower themselves that will free up some time for you, that was huge for us. I would say around 7 or 8 mine could do it. More supervision at 7 than say 9 when they can do it totally independently.

+Short Notice I think we all have good intentions that go to hell. I was the same way. I just learned to let go and enjoy the chaos. They are only little for a short amount of time. Maybe that was easy for me to say because at the time I wasn't working so i had that option. I'm working now and it is hard but you get through it. I thought I would be super mom too, lol.

It's not about raising "machines" I think that's a little harsh. As a single mother of a 15 month old and an educator, I follow a schedule but its obviously interrupted daily. It's actually known that children thrive on a routine. They like to know what is to be expected but also like surprises thrown in from time to time. There is no shame in that.

YES!!! i am so jealous your baby sleeps three times a day! we do one long nap (3-3.5 hrs) or two short (2 hour naps) i use a calendar that is out for the kids to see what is on the plate for each day, it helps with managing expectations, and since I'm at home most of the day with 2 kids 3 and under, I involve them with our cleaning routine. regardless of what else we add to the routine, we always keep one nap consistent (at home in a crib) and bedtime every night at the same time, it helps with everything else on our crazy three kids in the house routine.

Absolutely love your tips! My son is on schedule since he was three months old. He is seven now and he is still on schedule. He wakes up at 6:30am and goes to sleep at 8:30pm. Including Saturdays and Sundays. The schedule can be a problem when we are abroad on vacation. So, unfortunately, sometimes, we are coming home from a restaurant earlier than we would like to. But, I agree. Scheduling your kids since a young age is totally worth it.

My house is chaotic, with 3 little ones and my medical stuff, plus music, parent council etc I'm always trying to find new tips to keep things running smoothly. I cannot go without my day planner, I have my calendar on my phone and the big wall one, but sometimes your phone dies, or the toddler has it, or you forgot it at home etc.. so I have a little purse size agenda with pen to keep track of what is what with everyone. I also have 2 big posters with the morning and nighttime schedules for the boys, it's a life saver my oldest has ADHD so seeing and reading the steps on his own helps us both keep on track. All I did was hit the dollar store for white poster paper and colored markers and then wrote out our schedules with the time in big bubble numbers so he can see them, and made them look cute before sticking them to the wall beside our backpacks and jacket hanger. =)

I never sleep trained. Not judging, to each their own. But I see moms in the comment section struggling. So, I just want to let some moms know, all babies get there at some point. If you don't train like me, it may take longer, but at 15 months but little guy is currently sleeping soundly in his toddler bed. We have good nights and bad nights but they continuously get easier. Sleep DOES GET BETTER what ever route you choose for your family.

My sisters and I (there's 4 of us) have dance almost every day. My mom definitely pushes homework and has us do small chores after dance (take out trash, load washer, etc.) and larger chores (washing dishes, clean room, etc.) on weekends or days we don't have dance. Also, I made chore charts for each of my sisters and me. I asked what colors they wanted so it would appeal to them and hung them by their beds. When your kids are old enough to do chores on a schedule, I definitely suggest this.

Great video! I too have 3 kids 7, 4 and 1. I found when they were fussy with outfits agreeing on 5 i outfits ahead on a Sunday and then putting the rest of the clothes out of reach/sight helped.

Thanks for sharing! Although Ive noticed you dont mention TV time. This is my greatest challenge yet! I came across this youtube channel as I'm finding keeping a regular routine hard, especially on school holidays. I have two boys, one turning 6 in the new year (2018) and the other just turned 2 years old in October this year. A lot of sibling rivalry when routine is not fixed. Especially over toys :/ We have a (intermediate level) stay in nanny/ baby sitter which helps, but also find it a challenge when it comes to organizing what routine is best for both of them as my oldest son has been diagnosed with mild autism. This makes it a bit more difficult to implement a routine such as yours. Especially when it comes to the kids gaining independence such as making their own breakfast, beds, bathing themselves, getting themselves ready, ect. I do encourage independence especially with clothes picking. So totally understand the long haul of allowing my oldest son particularly in deciding what to wear. He has a favorite jumper, but does get dirty. So, this makes it more difficult to plan clothes the night before. As for snacks/meal plans. that's my other greatest challenge as we all have different eating habits. We give a food allowance to our baby sitter but find its difficult as she doesnt always stick to it which affects our food budget. I guess running a home is no different to running a small business! it amazes me how many ppl (including my own husband) over look or take lightly on those who are called stay at home parents/ carers.

For me (having 4 kids ages 5 and under) I meal meal every meal for the week, including breakfast and lunch. Then I put that list where my littles can see it and they know what's coming. I find I get a lot less whining about certain meals too, because they're prepared for it!

Great tips! Routines are great for our family and it's the only way we function. In our case dinner is postponed until 6:00 so we can eat dinner as a family. One meal a day all together is very important to us.
