Cool and helpful video! I would add one pro tip: if you really have mega budget and don't cap out lightning res AFTER meph's conviction, just use Salvation aura instead of fanatism to fight him. You will be a bit slower, but since he is in fact really squishy, the fight might be like only 5 seconds longer and that can help avoid the oneshots! cheers

You can also craft a blood mesh belt for a source of open wounds (5-10%), it's fairly cheap to do.

You can approach from left side. Enter Portal, walk around the village. On left side is a dead cow. Drag from there meph and you can easyl get baal singled out there as well, so never have to deal with 2. That lifetap wand can have up to lvl 5 life tap and can be shopped in a5. just have look at malah when you baal run until you find 11. this helps alot in budget to have more duration on that curse.

One strategy i came up with for a weapon is shaeled wizardspike. Great way for a fast weapon and easy way to make up for resists. And never needing to repair as its indestructible is a nice bonus. Pair that w any decent paly shield, and you have maxed resists. The rest of gear can be crushing blow/open wounds, etc

Antidote potions temporarily add poison resistance. Give it a try whenever you see poison nova's going off! Same with thawing potions if cold is getting ya.

yes, and additionally swapping to venom ward is great for lilith with the 90% poison resist. I dont think anyone even picks that armor up :)

Yes, they even stack, so 30 seconds each, chug a bunch and you have extra safety going in to those nasty fights.

Pro tip, when adding enough dex to reach max block, make sure you are buffed with CTA and cast holy shield afterwards BEFORE you add in the dex. Other wise you will waste some stat points

Deadly strike doesn't work on smite, Highlord's only use for a smiter is if you can't get the next breakpoint in attack speed. Getting Defiance for synergy to get 10k def isn't helpful at all since ubers level are 110 on 14k-16k AR. You have great ideas but a little more research would make this video more educational

Trapping him in the house next to portal makes him some what easier. Kind of like Uber XP days. But to each there own. The D2 King approves this video.

I would have one row of mana potions in the belt. Once Über Baal's minions close in, they will manaleech you and while rejuvs simply fill up the bulbs, a mana poition is like super-fast mana replenishment which will help you a bit longer. I wouldn't use super mana potions because they regenerate mana too fast and once the mana bulb is full, it will stop replenishing. Rhyme is also an excellent shield, as long as you don't have a Herald of Zakarum yet and in particular, if you don't have Ravenfrost. As soon as you have Grief, I would respec the paladin into a fana-zealot with just one point in smite because the smite damage bonus doesn't work on Grief's +damage while zeal will help a lot versus the mnions around the übers and also versus everything else, like those where the keys are.

What about FHR? Here's what happened to me I built my first Uber Smiter when I found a pair of perfect Drac. He's top-geared besides Sanctuary instead of Exile (which I don't wanna bother making). One point in Zeal, I run everything smoothly, I don't have Enigma because I like slaying mobs on my way to collect the organs. A few days ago, I found a +1 combat and I replaced a +12% FHR with it. Worst mistake ever. I went down from 62 to 50 and I thought no biggie. Once in Tristram I swapped Nosfe with Thundergods and went to lure Mephisto. I am used to being surrounded by Pitlords and Dark Lords, so I always carry a BoneBreak and it has never been a problem sweeping the first ones before taking Meph far enough, but this time with 50 FHR I got creamed.

Worst part for any beginners out there, don’t take ages while kiting bosses out from their spawn, as once there are to many adds, their damage really stacks up, especially for budget builds. I learnt it the hard way 🥺

I would say Dracs is more valuable than Highlords. Swapping wands is a pita and dangerous.

Something I've never seen any video mention is that when you have more than one player in Uber Tristram, the last player in the portal gets targeted by the minion spawns. I like to bring a bone spear necro that will enter last and he can bone prison spam the mage skele while I am smiting the bosses. Necro can be totally naked and get the job done. Have a barb player BO you and leave the game is also nice.

After a maxed Fanta and I believe 33 ias on grief you are max frames so you don’t need all the extra ias on gloves highlords armor etc fyi

Pro tip from me: Max out conviction instead of defiance and add some extra IAS. Kill meph with the conv aura and you will override his conv as yours will be higher level. With this trick you will have max res against meph. Switch back to fanaticism for the other bosses.

Couple of options for mega budget helms. I like darksight helm (unique bassinet) for cannot be frozen, dim vision when struck, and cloak of shadows charges (great for the adds) Also, you can make a ground for the extra lighting resist/absorb. Mephisto’s lightning attacks are no joke.

I like to use an ias calculator so that you know what the highest breakpoint you can reach against uber duriel's holy freeze. Also against lilth i would def use string of ears for the pdr%.

Its far more beneficial to run mana pots in the 4 slot, if you get mana burned it keeps filling your mana instead of leaving you completely empty and wasting juvies for mana

@@John_Conner_ you could also make them with 3 mana pots + 3 life pots + regular gem. Also, I think Llama found an exploit where you could use barb's Find Potion on Maggot Youngs which gives you almost unlimited rejuvies.

The best way to do this is to gather 4-5 people, to farm the Keys and then farm yourself Torches. Otherwise, you will have problems with Nichaltak :P

I'm 80% sure it does not. Nothing works on smite, such as leech or +damage, except crushing blow and open wounds.

It's infuriating how easy this looks even with budget gear. My level 89 fully kitted smiter dies all the time to Ubers. I can probably swap a few items out for better results but mephisto makes me his bitch every time.
