As someone on disability who only gets 1000$ a month to pay for rent groceries and bills... I find it impossible sometimes to understand how you can spend so much money on name brands.. I just shake my head. Do any of the kids actually have an understanding that money doesn't come from trees or mom and dad. They need to learn this skill. It's nice to buy them each a car when they passed their license but brand new ones? I'm sure you could have found decent cars at 2/3 the price by buy last year's models. I'm sorry to be bah humbug especially this close to Christmas. I'm just shaking my head.

Don't really need to say how ridiculous this is. For being such a religious family, they sure ruin the true meaning of Christmas. Gimme, gimme, gimme, take, take, take. So sad. To teach children that material things matter so much. I didn't hear not even one child say..let's go find an angel tree ,and help some kids who won't get anything for Christmas. Now THAT would be a video I would love to see. I highly doubt we will see that happen though. Money ruins people. It makes children always "wanting more". Exploiting children in the process, makes it even worse. I wish a happy safe Christmas to all. An idea for people struggling for Christmas this year, don't think you need to buy expensive stuff.. Go to op shops, thrift shops For toys, clothes, books and more.. Find bargains around your city/town. A child really won't remember the gifts as they get older except a few special items.. Their memories are mostly of their loved ones and who was there with them. Don't feel bad if you can't afford much. They also have places that help out with people in need with Christmas hampers/gifts if you sign up. I do know in Australia they do this at the salvos churches and that. Not sure about America ad other countries though. Don't ever feel bad for asking for help either. A lot of people are struggling this year.

Gifts don't need to be expensive. Gifts used to be about being thoughtful and sentimental but also having a few things that someone would like or need... A lot of the time growing up we didn't even know what we were getting, we were happy with what we got... From Santa and from parents. We had toys up until we were teenagers but even than we didn't get adult stuff... Must be grateful for what you get because some families can't afford to spend $100 on one gift.
