Hi Amanda: Here's a tip. When I buy lettuce, I remove the core and rinse the lettuce upside down and let it drain. Once drained, I wrap it in paper towels. I have found this helps prolong the freshness and keeps the lettuce crisp.

Hi Amanda ❤ I have been watching since the pandemic. Thanks for the motivation. Love your comment about spending time with your son. I have two girls and when they were teens, it was really challenging. I took them to therapy to teach them to argue with me in a more respectful way. The shrink said that we get over drafted in our relationships. I stayed on them and I have regrets about that, but when your relationship feels over drafted, it’s important to make more deposits in your relationship account. You are doing a great job as a parent from what we get to see. Your tip was free. Our therapy was really expensive but worth it. Haha I hope parents of teens can find a way to spend time together in whatever positive way you can. Also, as a practicing Buddhist, I appreciate your spiritual side without being so preachy. I think we see so many fake Christians that say one thing, but their actions are otherwise. Meditation was really helpful for me when the kids were that age. I’ve been blogging for 11 years. I appreciate all the work you put into your videos. Those who know, really know how long that editing takes. Have a great summer. You have a friend in New Orleans if you ever visit. 💕👊🏼 PS love to see an Amazon box/recycling plan and how you get rid of them. Also paperwork and technology stuff is always out of control. What a sweetheart Luke is. I’m a mom of two young men, 24 & 20 now. We have a great bond but things definitely were a little tremulous during the middle school years. They meet new friends and push back on some things. It was hard to try not to be a helicopter mom but I stayed steadfast on things like core values and morals and talked about and was willing to compromise on the rest. My kids use to want to talk at the most inopportune moments but I tried put everything on hold and listen to them because boys aren’t always the most talkative. ❤

I love night time cleaning being the only one up pottering around. I just get lost in what I'm doing and find it so therapeutic. The first thing I do when I get home from holiday is the washing because they are sorted into separate bags whilst away.
