I had my eyes on this and the german set. Somethings are great; separate boots, glove hands, new (modern) vest, plenty of pouches including WWII types, WWII weapons, tons of extras,. While other things kinda suck; too many identical figures, incompatible gloves with previous releases, no WWII type vest/harnesses. Some issue can easily be fixed; use acetone to remove the badly painted eyes for repaint with an ink pen, use a hairdrier or hot water to soften the plastic of the leg strap before sliding it on, the rocket launcher can have a hole drilled into the front with a pin vise. Still a pretty good set with a lot of customizing potential. And I agree, I prefer the Mega Construx style of sandbag over the ones these knock-offs use. I wish I could get an order of 20 or 30 Mega Construx type sandbags for like $10 a set. I'd have to buy several if the Knock-offs did that. Thanks for the review!

Never heard of using acetone to remove painted figures, interesting. Hair dryer/hot water, ooh that's an interesting trick, it might just work, I should test it out. For the rocket the complication comes from knowing how big to make the hole for the rocket and making sure it's off to the side. Seriously the knock offs should just start selling mega bloks style sandbags, imagine if they sold each one for like 5 cents and you could choose different colors. That would be awesome. Hopefully they knock off companies see this video and possibly make it happen. You are most welcome comrade ;D

@@UnfriendlyPorcupine I think the end of the rocket piece is lego bar sized if it's sized properly to fit into a minifigure's hands. That size is 1/8 inch diameter, so a 1/8" drill bit should drill a proper sized hole. I recommend drilling a 1/16" pilot hole first, then step it up to the 1/8" drill bit. Making sure your drill is centered and not at an angle will be important, might be easier using a pin vise holder instead of a power drill, but it'll take longer & more effort to drill out.

That's seriously a lot of work that us the customer shouldn't have to do. Thank you for the info but ima just stick with my other knock off rocket launchers that already actually have a hole in them.

@@UnfriendlyPorcupine Oh I agree, we shouldn't have to do it ourselves, but if you have the tools, it's not that much work. I'm still waiting for my order to ship from that seller in your link. Now with the wuhan virus stuff, It might be a good idea to cancel. 😆 I'll keep my order, I'm sure the post office will zap the package and kill anything that might be on it.

Indeed if you can ignore their incompatibility with official mega construx Call Of Duty figures. Like the hands for example don't work. Accessories on the other hand work very well, especially the ones that attach to official mega bloks vests, belts and leg straps.

I went on Ebay and found this and the german one together it'll be here in a few days also they made another its german with AA guns and other Artillery weapons i bout it to its really interesting

I hate when knock offs do that. That's what I saw in the German Tank figures but thankfully they actually gave German Helmets for the German figures which is the review I am going to out for everyone to enjoy soon

Looks pretty cool to me, also those vests are tactical ones hard to find in Mega Construx official sets. Will the german troops come with a dog figure?

I think those vest are becoming more and more common which is good, I still appreciate how they give us another vest rather than just using the stereotypical one, that's common in other knock offs. Yes Germans come with dog, a shity lego dog

Indeed, I wonder why hasn't mega construx made WWII Russian soldiers yet. Knock offs made a Russian tank but they don't really come with Russian soldiers.
