Female marine head is actually kats head sculpt. Honestly a really good re-use of the mold. Can't wait for the mercenary units review.

I gotta say, this might be my 5th favorite set! I love the marines so much, and the turret might be my favorite so far! I also love the flag and the spartan is so nice! I hate that it’s not dollar general exclusive, because I came to the east cost so I could have more dollar generals, but oh well. Great review and I can’t wait for the mercenary combat pack review!

Dollar general is REALLY slow to put out new sets. I found the ODST vs brute pack at a Walmart, then almost 6 months later they started showing up at DG. If it follows that trend, it might not be until spring/summer before we see them in the states. Or the distribution is getting horrible again and we're back to square one 😬

Got mine in the mail today. Spartan seven's right thigh armor is missing and they sent two left thy armors instead. Got to love mega. Good thing I have an orange Spartan from the Halo heroes series.

As much as l love these sets, the turrets lately are just sad. l miss the model collector type design rather than the kid shoot design.

Actually, the two have some slight differences between them. The platoon pack version have a black undersuit and more detailed printing on his chest armor vs the gray undersuit and more simple prints of the one from this set.

Online, this set is going to be fairly pricey. I have really no idea how this set will release in countries aside from the US and Canada. $15 to $20 is roughly retail price though.

The armor that Chief wears in Halo 5 is Mark VII GEN2

Mark VI looks nothing like what Chief wears in Halo 5... The only reason it was Mark VI in Halo 4 is because of the battle damage of the chest plate, that’s why he wears Mark VII GEN2 in Halo 5. Mark VII GEN2 and Mark VII GEN3 look different

I don’t use the pistol cause the grip of the pistol is bigger then the other weapons causing it to damage the hands of the figure

Btw I had to find out the hard way when I saw stress mark on one hand

Either you got a QC mold issue or the hand was going to get a stress mark anyway. A lot of the time, a stress mark means nothing on lighter plastics. I have some hands that have had stress marks for a long time and are fine. I also have multiple of the pistols and mine doesn't have that issue

@@DemarcationMedia The head won't turn properly and pops off easily, but the ball-socket joined that holds it is fine. I think the inside of the head is misshapen somehow. Arms and joints are also sticking a lot.

Also they've been making tons of gen 3 mark VII spartans, apparently the next wave of halo heroes is going to have a purple mark VII? At least it will come with a needler instead of the bulldog shotgun that the last two came with
