Insurrection Takedown - Halo Mega Construx/Bloks Stopmotion

I got to say you did a phenomenal job with this one. I like what you were going for, and considering we haven’t had any real designs for Insurrectionists you did a pretty good job here. What I especially love is the reference to “rumble drug” that the Insurrectionist injected into himself. Lore wise it was a drug that was used by the Insurgents to combat Spartans. It would make the average person capable of doing some incredible feats, just being stronger and faster for a brief amount of time but usually ended up in the person taking the drug to die because they would just go berserk. This was so good. The Spartan figure was beautiful. Kind of makes me wish Mega would use the bigger limb, and hand pieces from the call of duty line to make more accurate Spartans. But I get why they don’t, it’s for play value at the end of the day.

I’d imagine that Innies would look something like traitor (not chaos) guardsmen from Warhammer 40k. That being, normal guys with normal armor, just not flying the colors of the UNSC. The books that deal with Insurrectionist characters mentions they mostly use outdated UNSC equipment, so I’d reckon they look like old Halo Wars marines with less unified armor

There's so many things that made this awesome. Your custom paintjobs were super detailed, LS3D's parts looked great. The camera movements added a lot. The flame effects looked AMAZING. They looked 3D printed? And the movement in the fist fights felt so realistic and flowed very well. Fantastic job Sassy!!

Thanks so much man 🔥 The fire was actually made using a snipped up and glued together orange translucent warhammer sprue 😂 on the lingering flame effects I used cellophane sweet wrappers 😁

@RapidActionAnimations He sent the prototype legs to me for free along with a few other pieces. He didn't ask me specifically to make an animation showcasing them. He just thought it'd be cool, and I was keen try them out on in idea I otherwise wouldn't have done. At this point though the legs have been able to be bought from his website for months now. I'm a little late

W LS3D Spartan, i made one too. Love them so much, theyre even taller and bigger than the marines. You mustve dropped like 70 or 80 dollars to make that spartan. I hope you use it a lot. Also just noticed the pther guns, decals, and gear. Maybe nearer to 150 dollars

THIS IS SO FREAKING COOL!!! I AM BLOWN AWAY!!!! Dude, those customs looked WILD!!! I loved how the spartan had articulated ankles & that made them taller. This is such a cool side of Halo that I havent seen much of. The focus on the UNSC vs the Insurgence is wild. I cannot even imagine how horrifying it would be going up against one of these spartans, EVEN before the shield core technology had been integrated into the armor! You really put a lot of emphasis in just how much better the spartan was in EVERY way, and it even seemed like at points, the Spartan wasn't even trying but still managed to kick serious ass. That dude in the ODST armor really thought he could do something! I loved the bit where he tried to tackle the spartan, but the spartan didn't even move. All the slow & precise movements from the Spartan were so cool! When you know a Spartan can run faster than a warthog, and they're choosing to move slower than you while still busting your balls in, you may as well drop your weapons and surrender at that point 💀💀💀
