Pocket Monster II, also titled Pikaqiu II, is an assumed sequel to Pocket Monster, and is an unlicensed game for the Mega Drive. Like its prequel, it is based on Nintendo’s Pokémon franchise, and is a platform game where the player controls Pikachu. Some of the opponents are based on Mega Bomberman enemies.

Loved playing this on Mega Drive back in the day one of the games that made me pick up a Mega Drive rather than SNES.

I remember that day as a kid just before Christmas in 1992 in possibly a Woolworths or WH Smith's store when I made the BIG, groundbreaking decision that I wanted a Mega Drive instead of a Super Nintendo when I saw Sonic 2 in action through the demos on a screen they had set up while my parents were talking to the people at the store about Super Nintendos!!!!!! I feel kinda bad about it, since the people at the store had gotten a Super Nintendo out of its box and everything, and we didn't actually buy the Mega Drive from there, I don't think, but overall it was the best decision, with the sheer amount of classic Mega Drive games that were half price at that time!!!!!
