@@Thebigpayback according to what I read by Kimberly Cohn, director of game development for slot supplier Scientific Games the denomination factor has no bearing except on the Mega progressive. When it resets it resets to 1 million times the denomination.

Honestly I admit it's all rather confusing to me, as what you write seems to be at odds with the game instructions, which state: "The amount wagered times the odds of winning the Mega during the feature when triggered from the Base Game is equivalent for all possible denominations." Or maybe they do jive depending on how you read it. I guess my main point was that it seems counter-intuitive that a player would be penalized in any way for betting more, ie, the more you bet proportionally it should be easier to win Progressives.

Indeed, I can still hardly believe it! And it's funny you mention, at my one local the original Fire Links seem to get played more than these new ones. Part of my thinks it's because the new ones doesn't have the base element that shakes the machine when the fireballs land: sounds silly but it really adds to the game. And of course as you imply, these I think are a bit more volatile. Thankfully I had the dream session!

You are welcome! This was a Dream Session for sure and it was so awesome to have it finally all come together on the high limit bet! That's interesting about the Mega Jackpot, although I would assume the frequency also depends on bet, although the instructions seem a little ambiguous on this point while they aren't in, for example, Dragon Link. If the frequency did not decrease with an increase in bet, the odds would be better betting lower which seems wrong. I would love it if all slot machines had their odds posted, one can dream, right!
