Excellent video. Definitely learned some things. Like using the dial indicator to check clutch clearances. I always used feeler gauges and it’s a pain. Question. When checking final endplay, where were you prying? I just set mine on the output shaft to check, not sure if that’s right
@FirepunkDiesel5 жыл бұрын
Input end play we're prying up on the sunshell from the reverse drum, this lifts the intermediate and input shaft off the selective on the back of the intermediate, giving you a true measurement on end play

Have you ever seen the low/reverse sprag race come out of the case before? If so what do you do to fix it and what causes the race to work it's way out of the case?
@FirepunkDiesel5 жыл бұрын
Very seldom does this roller clutch come loose, occasionally we see the sprag race loose but usually we make sure the race is tapped to the back of the case, then stake it in place to secure it if it's loose. Now if you launch too hard on the sprag then it will crack the case and rip the sprag race loose from its splines.
@tjdietrich69855 жыл бұрын
@@FirepunkDiesel Gotcha. A couple broken input shafts ago, I noticed the race worked it's way out of the case and was rubbing on the drum. Ended up putting a bolt in race. Is that something you guys do as a fix?

As a gun owner, it's very disappointing to hear that someone left their firearm in their vehicle while they were thousands of miles away. I don't know if the Firepunk crew had access to it, but if they had, that would be a big no-no too.

When I’m at Walmart like EVERY other red blooded American I go to the front first to see if I caught anyone backing out or a free spot and then move to the back till I find a spot lol. That statement made no sense lol. Not to mention the best spots in the lot are hand cap spots tho some maybe welfare recipients id bet most of them are on state and in a wheel chair because that’s the cards they were dealt.
