Your arrangements used to very closely capture the original songs with incredible clarity and virtuosity. Now I see you add a lot more of your own touch to the pieces, proving some amazing arrangement and even composing talent. This must be the best piano medley I have seen on KZbin. Perfect!

Thank you bcutter for this very valuable comment. I actually allowed myself some personal fancies on the repeat of my favorite themes as well as the ending. You have also surely noticed that I was inspired by your own version of Character Select, in particular in its modulation to the third which allowed me to continue with Cut Man in a coherent way. So I had to, for this reason and so many others, to mention your performance in the description. I hope we'll have the opportunity to hear you play again soon!

OMG the cut man theme is so awesome!!!!! Finally someone faithfully covering it in the same key. My biggest pet peeve is people changing the key of music in covers. The original key is always the best

Gavin Brown, thank you very much for those kind words. The Cut Man theme is one of the most difficult in the game to play on the piano if you want to keep all the voices at the original tempo. However, the key of A minor (that of the piece) is one of the simplest on the piano (few black keys). It seems to me that transposing this piece into another key would make it even more difficult.

Beautiful video and channel. I have explored a lot of VGM piano covers and I haven't heard anyone who makes arrangements at this level of accuracy let alone perform them with the kind of crisp precision that you do. Even comparing this to the standalone uploads of the songs it's clear you practiced a lot to make everything even more smooth and clear for this video. I love MM2's but this is my favorite MM soundtrack, especially Bomb Man, Cut Man, and the ending theme, and you captured them all perfectly. Your personal additions to the songs are also tasteful and don't detract from the listening at all, which is more than can be said for most arrangers who take liberties. The gestures and faces you make while playing also add a nice subtle comedic flair to your videos, I love it. As a beginner (who will be trying to learn these for the next thousand years) I greatly appreciate the free sheet music and even more so the fact that there's pedal markings and fingerings. Ending on a selfish note, I would absolutely love it if you ever arranged any Touhou songs, you're one of the few people on KZbin who has the skill to actually pull it off. I share your preferences on the Bomb Man and Cut Man themes, and you must have noticed that they have benefited from a little more advanced treatment than on the others. @@GabbPiano Indeed I did notice! As for Touhou music i'm glad you liked them, the piano parts are definitely a highlight. The composer ZUN loves to occasionally write stuff that might not even be physically playable without more than one piano so some songs might pose quite a challenge to arrange and play accurately. I could really post Touhou songs all day but i'll restrain myself and bombard you with just a couple more that I hope you enjoy. I haven't played much of the original Mega Man, but I like the Guts Man and Cut Man songs. Your piano playing was of such high quality that I felt like I was in the world of Mega Man, it was like a dream come true. I have played and completed Mega Man 4, Mega Man 5, Mega Man 6, Mega Man 7, Mega Man X, Mega Man X2, and Mega Man X3 games. I like the music of Mega Man 5. I like the songs of Gyroman, Gravity Man, Crystal Man, Wave Man, and Napalm Man. I haven't cleared Mega Man 2, Mega Man 3, and Mega Man yet, but I like the songs. I also like the songs of Mr. Goemon and Mr. Goemon 2 on NES. For Super NES, I like Super Donkey Kong. I look forward to more of your wonderful piano playing.
