That video was bad-ass and completely sold me on the new game. I've loved Mega Man since I was a kid, renting the first one and putting many hours into it until I finally finished it. It was such an achievement because I was just a kid. I had never put so much effort into anything in my life at that point, and if you finished MM1 then you know it was no small amount. NES changed me, and MM1 was one of one of the biggest reasons.

The reason Mighty No. 9 bombed was because of mismanagement on Inafune's part. He squandered the money used via kickstarter for other things like planning a TV show. He even used an outdated engine for the game. If he was still working for Capcom, they'd probably put him in his place.

Exactly. I was so sad when Legends 3 was canceled. I'll never stop believing we will get this game someday, and maybe, some re-releases of Legends 1 and 2.

Don't forget Tron Bonne and that Japan exclusive mobile game of Legends. Megaman has so many games it is easy to forget spinoffs or portable stuff. Legends 1 and 2 haven't had the best luck but they at least got a PSP compilation for Japan and PSN releases for Japan and America. On me, I wanted to get that Legends 3 demo so bad that I was willing to pay for a download on a friend's 3DS but that never happened.

markdpane, the backlash was deserved, that had canceled megaman games in development during that gap and claimed there was not enough fan feed back to warrant continued development. we lost a metroid prime like game and even legends 3 to this and thats just the games the we know of, there could have been more.

I’m not a fan of the art direction but at this point I don’t care. I’m so thankful that we finally get megaman 11. Plus I know it will change and improve over 1 WHOLE year. If any developer sees this comment, I want you to know the style as it is looks bland and uninspired. Don’t be afraid to get creative and add some more color into it. It’s megaman for gods sake!
