Full game has your standard and $2 DLC/character since it's past that early buyers' benefit to get free (which is a great practice for DLC, let alone it's not smash bros expensive for $7 characters/stages).

Probably the weirdest theory I came up with, but what if Dr Wily did reform after the next wave of megaman games and Zero and X were actually a conjointed project between the two after Wily gave up on his villainy? I mean Megaman II for the gameboy states that in the future, Dr Wily gave up completely before his past self came in and convinced him to kidnap Rock so he can make Quint. As for Zero's virus, remember that Wily created that thing to keep Zero in order since he had no idea how to stop his systems from going berserk, which apparently a punch to his head and indirectly transferring it to another host would fix it. But considering Wily created Zero to destroy him (at least according to Zero's dreams. him is a vauge meaning cause its unclear if it means Rock, X or Dr Light), i can't really draw a proper conclusion except that maybe Wily still had lingering envy towards Dr Light especially if he's reminded about it by his past self. But on the other hand, it would also explain why Dr Light's holograms in X5 and X6 are friendly with Zero for whatever reason and would explain Zero's urge to ask Dr Light about several things.

I was really disappointed with this ending. Even that the endings are all similar, they all had their own characteristic. From Megaman 7, where Megaman tried to kill Wily, to Megaman 8-10 where is explored more of the humanity of Megaman, even considering that Wily was sick after Megaman 10. And the ending of 11 was just a really generic cliché moment appealing to the "heart" of the villain. I was really hyped to this and got really REALLY disappointed. The game is good, but the story lacks continuity and quality
