So for the bolt grinding, if you're like me and just want everything maxed out, there's an AFK method in that same room. Once you have infinite Gear System and weapon energy, equip Bounce Ball. Find a way to keep the controller so that Megaman is aiming downward. Most, if not all, of the enemies at that point will be killed and the conveyor belt will bring all the items to you.

While navigating through the stages can be difficult all of these games since MegaMan two have been tone down and difficulty by far thanks to having Dr. lights shop or by having relatively easy to attain the energy tax. As long as you have a few energy tanks/weapon tanks/M tank you’ll be fine when you get to a boss. Thanks to beat calls, spike boot protectors, and the ability to purchase one ops it’s not very difficult to grind through these levels. If I had to do all over again, from the start, I would have purchased the bolt collector item which increases the number of bolts that you were likely to collect in a stage. That alone should be the first item you buy simply because it makes it easier to accumulate more currency in bolts. But they made it so you can only purchase it on Saturday. Here I am on Sunday evening and I could have bought it yesterday but didn’t know. By the time I am able to buy it next week Saturday, I will have probably already beat in the game. I may end up playing through the game one more time because I want to get the item that gives you infinite use of the boss weapons and I also want to buy the item that gives you infinite use of the double gear system. That’s 6000 bolts altogether.

It could take up to a 3rd or 4th playthrough to unlock and buy everything on Dr. Light's Lab.

I think the best bolt grinding spot is in tundra man's stage right before the mid boss is a checkpoint and three big bolts so just keep dying to the midboss

I'm a bit disappointed with this game and many other Mega Man games after Mrga Man X. That game is still one of my top 3 favorite games of all time. Instead of "buying" parts....it was best to find them and earn them. Anyone playing 11 could easily get more screws than they would ever need by just playing through the game....essentially giving everyone access to all parts. Mega Man parts were meant to be something special to obtain, not something bought from Dr. Lights lab! I want another game with the same idealistics and same graphics as X. Not even the X series could do it properly after the original.
