Crash Man is said to have a personality that tends to go into violent mood swings, shifting from being docile and obediant to insane and psychotic (especially in the Mega Man archie comic book). For someone who can be enraged so easily, Crash's theme song sounds nothing like that at all to be honest. This theme is rather upbeat and cheery, sounds like something I would play while I am in a good mood having a good day or going for a pleasant walk outside. I feel the exact same way about Top Man's theme.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that Doctor Wily based the robots in Mega Man 2 on Light's Robots from the original. Heat Man is based on Fire Man, Quick Man is based on Elec Man, Metal Man is based on Cut Man, and in the case of Crash Man, he is based on Bomb Man. Guts Man and Ice Man don't have notable replacements at this time (Unless you count Wood Man and Flash Man, but that's kind of a stretch).
