I ADORE Gemini Man's stage. This is the most unique and strangest stages in Mega Man history. The Crystal alien-like feeling is just so mystifying, yet endearing. To further this, there was even a planet that looked like Saturn which was originally going to appear in the background of the game, but it was cut, and it did not appear in this stage. However, the planet can be seen in some editing/debug tools for Mega Man 3. Strange.

I love the stage too. I think of the beginning of the stage as you walking along the surface of the planet, which is made of crystals. Proto Man destroys the barrier Gemini Man created to prevent you from getting to him, and you explore the inner caves of the planet to find Gemini Man waiting, who happens to be such an AWESOME Robot Master! Definetley one of the best classic Mega Man stages.

Such variety!! A crystal planet, penguins, drones, dragonflies, a secret entrance, a staredown with a mysterious adversary, you descend beyond the planet's crust into its gooey innards, larvae eggs hatching from the slimy cave walls made from encrusted colorful flashing bubbles, strange web-like structures, massive steel penguins with flashing rotating winches on their heads shooting more penguins. A deep, dark underground lake, your upbeat robodoggy companion turning into a submarine... Not sure what the level designers were on, but, this was epic.

My strategy for him was to fire at the one on the ground just as he was about to jump, which prevented him firing back. It took pretty precise timing to pull off, though, so yeah, Gemini Man (and his stage) killed me plenty of times.

It looks more arctic and underwater. But yes, it does look like an alien world, and it does take place at night, or in space for that matter.

Loved the music for this stage! That is cool little tune that's playing while you fight your way to Gemini Man, who is quite a formidable opponent. Still, hearing this takes back to those days when me and my little brother used to run it on this game (going all the way through it on a single game)!

You know, it really just came to me that this is one of the only Mega Man titles, or at least the first one that used bosses and weapons that weren't at all elemental based. ..Well that's not true, with the exception of Spark Man. So never mind then... BUT for the most part. No fire, water or ice based bosses or weapons.

Of all the stages in MM3, I always felt this one and Spark Man had the coolest graphics to look at. Worst-Top Man and Needle Man. Those two stages made no sense, theme/location wise!

World-Rockaa Mega Man 2 was a breeze *because of the metal blaaaaaaaades :D) imo. Mega Man 3 had a lot more challenge to it, with tougher stages and bosses (even with the weakness).

Please read this comment i know the last time i played this game i was probably about 5, but there was one thing i did remember. Using Snake Man against Gemini Man is EXTREMELY effective. I suggest u try it and perhaps make a movie with it cause it makes doin that as easy as beating Hard Man or Snake Man

I like how the developers decided to put Flash Man and Bubble Man on the Doc version of this stage - the whole stage always had a "flashy" and watery nature to it, so those bosses were very smart choices.

The thing I hated about MM3 is that the Robot Masters started to lose identity. Shadow Man- you'd think he'd use some form of Shadow against you, but no- he uses chinese stars. And what the hell is a Gemini Man? Shadow Man should have been Star Man- Gemini Man should have been Clone Man or Laser Man.
