@@Crazylegoman3791 When I saw Stone Man sitting up there in the upper left hand of the stage select, I knew this would be no walk in the park. Stone Man may very well be the most difficult Robot Master in all of Megaman history.

I don't know why everyone hates this stage. It's not like its amazing or anything, but it has at least a few things going for it. The theme is pretty good (my opinion) and the boss has a pretty cool looking design.

I think hiding that "G" part is extremely mean. Particularly since no other piece is hidden, and no other stage even has hidden rooms, it's not something the player is looking out for. Also, yeah, this stage is a slog. I'm not a fan. And Stone Man himself is stupid.

On the emulator i play mm5 is high pitched and sped up. This stage sounds different when you listen to it on 1.25x speed.sounds much better fast paced to be honest.

The problem with mm5 = easy game, but beautifull game, i like the design and the music of Stoneman stage a lot, Stoneman is funny; and difficult to beat without damage in the game boy version (Rockman world 4) because he does always powerstone and the stones turn around in ALL the screen and he jumps faster and better.... If MMU have MM1-10 rm, i will do some harder stages for mm5 >)

I have to be sadly honest with this. Among the NES era Mega Man games, 5 is easily the worst in my opinion. Even the most punishing games at least give you some satisfying weapons. And I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but it feels like your Mega Buster is the only weapon that feels awesome and that's only because they made the charge shot more effective. And while Stone Man is the worst, he's more the rule than the exception. A fun fact; I got nine 1-ups by the end of the second stage, almost as though they knew that they should be paying me in some way to play Mega Man 5. Not that I needed them to kill Stone Man, or even his weakness to bombs. And when I did... Jesus... You'd think Rockman would be able to use rocks more effectively, but sharing the name with a forgotten yet fun fighting game doesn't do much when the Power Stone can't kill anything. Even on the rare chance it hits, how well it will work depends heavily on the enemy. Most of the rest of the weapons were trash too, but the Power Stone was arguably the worst. I'm sure MM5 has its fans, but I personally think anything new in Mega Man 5 - aside from a couple of the robot masters - was implemented well into Mega Man 6, with the worst aspects rightfully left behind.

I enjoyed this level lol I like the mountain back drops. Yes stone man is pathetic. I guess Willy bought his parts 2nd hand lol For me in this game I hate gyro man stage. Kinda boring in background and Insta death specials like spikes and falling blocks. I also liked naplam man's level. The jungle theme was cool.

OK. I see your points, guys. Super Arm is limited and Top Spin can be unpredictable as to how much energy you burn but Power Stone has an accuracy rating of less than zero! It's not one of the better weapons. Can we all agree on that?
