I was born in 1988 and my first exposure to a Mega Man title was through my cousin when I was the age of 5....it was the original. From then on I became obsessed moving from one title to the next as if possessed by some unrelenting force. I then advanced onto the “x” series and even suffered through the Gameboy “Xtreme” versions. Only just recently did I realize what drew me to the series asides from it’s awesome unrivaled musical score. It’s the memories which I had forged whilst playing them all.....although she passed away back in 2015 my Mother is with me whenever I run through each of these indescribable titles. Simply hearing Woodman’s track all the way back in the 2nd game all the way through that games ending score. Somehow persevering again and again in Mega Man 3’s unforgiving and unrelenting gameplay. All the way to the pivotal realization in Mega Man 6 that you were about to “finally” catch Dr. Wily.....these memories shall forever be engraved as my most cherished and precious gaming memories I have ever had. I know there is so much I have not mentioned regarding the Blue Bomber but I believe all who have played his games can agree that the memories forged with him shall reside within all us for all time.....

Honestly my favorite track in the game. There’s something about it that’s always felt inspiring and hopeful (and that brief futuristic space cityscape you see when entering the first stage of this section always left me a bit disappointed that we didn’t get to play Over THERE! and instead enter into the factory innards or something to try and chase down Wily-err-X)

I don't know why this song to me always sounded a bit melancholic it is kinda sad sounding and I like it. This song makes this feel like it was supposed to be the last mega man game or something but the series is now up to what 11 main series games for the classics now? so it did not exactly end here but this song makes it feel as if this was it this is where it all stops. Well shown by Mega Man 7 being released in SNES and 8 being released in PS1/Saturn, you can say this theme is saying farewell towards long term relationship with the NES in the classic series. So not too far off either way. Though 6 is not the last time being 8 bit shown by 9 and 10. But Mega Man 9 and 10 are not real NES games, they're just styled as one.

I beat this game yesterday and all i can think of is that stupid jump where you need to somehow jump on a platform without hitting the spikes getting near enough to burst the wall through in the power suit and you have to be really close. All i can think of is how frustrating that 1 jump was.

It’s weird how much mr x makes sense. Dr wily presumably needed a lot more funding to create an international robot tournament, and the prior game just so happens to have crystal man, who was created to make crystals for dr wily to sell. Plus it makes sense for him to have industrial robots like a train, or helicopter to gather resources and build the tournament needed to kidnap the mm6 robot masters.
