why do you call it a vrc6 tune if there's also 2a03

You cannot get rid of the 2a03, unless you actively avoid using those channels. Most composers use the 2a03 channels when using other add on chips, so there’s no need to add “+2a03” to every song as it’s expected.

@@erhanjpg1467you can depending on the program. however, rush does all his nes stuff with Famitracker and yes you can’t remove it. however in programs like furnace you can isolate the VRC6 on its own if you wanted.

@@pyra9345 i don’t think I’ve ever seen a Famitracker song with expansions that doesn’t use 2a03. And also, the 2a03 is quite literally built into the NES, making it impossible to remove.
