Hold B on the SNES controller and you get to hear Ghost N' Goblins music. The miniboss here can lead you to two different paths depending on how you beat him. Beat him by shooting him in the mouth and you take the lower path, where you can encounter Proto Man (need to visit Turbo Man and Cloud Man locations first) and get his shield. Shooting him in the eyes nets you the path to the right, where you can get the Energy Balancer. __

Shade Man stage reminds me of Castlevania. Shade Man himself resembles a devil. In the Sample version of Mega Man 7, the stage looked more natural, but the door to the boss chamber is not functional. In the Sample version, Cloud Man’s stage theme plays in this stage.
