100% agreed. While 2 was incredible and set the bar for the rest of the series, 9's team had plenty of time to play, digest, and analyze the previous games and see what worked. That resulted in an extremely polished release that still somehow gets overlooked by many.

Mega man 9 is way more designed for skilled players such as no miss runners, 10 was more designed for more of a casual expirience

It wouldnt matter anyways. The second a new character is announced for litterally anything someone makes rule 34 art of it. Just look at pokemon scarlet and violet. There was art made of the starters THE SAME DAY OF THE TRAILER

Well, the SNES can reproduce the Mega Drive's FM sound perfectly, so I think that can be considered.
