Yeah, it was a good call to add Ryu, boring ass Chun-Li and Akuma into the game. You can get Ryu's hadouken move in X1. You can also get boring ass Chun-Li's flaming shoryuken move in X2, and Magma Dragoon uses that move in X4. And Magma Dragoon has Akuma's dive kick as well as Akuma's symbol.

Thank God its closing. The roster is awesome, and I love all of these skins and variants. But the game was complete trash. Just one big grind after the next, all trying to strongarm you into rng microtransactions. The levels are so short (MMX stages are broken up into 4-5 sections) that you never get into a proper flow state like in the old games. Very little skill here, its mostly just about having big numbers. And that tutorial at the beginning is literally hours long, EVERY menu needs that girl to walk you through and demonstrate exactly how it works in excruciating detail.

Holy crap that Vergil Zero skin goes hard knowing that these 2 are the most top tier characters in Marvel and the most popular. Imagine if this was in an official game. So, that's actually a reference to the first Mega Man X game; the secret capsule had Light as Ryu, and he taught you the Ryu fireball. You had to have collected every other collectable item in the game, beaten all the master robots, and done a weird set of actions repeatedly in a level that required you to die multiple times in order to get it. Oddly, I found it on my own, because I was bored one day and just so happened to die the right way multiple times in the same continue.

You know, for a franchise that's known for having some awesome robots, this game sure had a strange fascination with the female characters instead. 💀 Hopefully mods for Offline will make it even better. Considering that this was a mobile game, I expect there to be a lot more interesting new characters even with unique animations, sounds, and weapons in the future. (I don't know anything about modding but I'd imagine it'll at least be a lot easier to mod for this than something like Mega Man 11 for example) There's literally hundreds of characters you could add from the classic and X related series' alone btw, *hundreds.* And don't even get me started on stuff like non-canon games, cartoons, comics, scrapped bosses, alternate designs, even quite a few fan made ones from a good amount of fan games, etc.

The thing about modding is that unless you got talented model artists (3D Models) who know a thing about rigging and doing animations, etc, mods won't take off aside from stat changes and maybe imports if that kind of thing is possible. Take Stellaris for example which is a highly moddable game on steam, most new graphical additions are imports and even then there aren't a lot of them. Most mods apply PNGs or something.

@@D4Skewer I think you underestimate just how much fans are willing to put extra content into games. Stuff like Mega Man Maker, Arena, and mods for 8-Bit Deathmatch are very apparent. Yes the rigging and modeling isn't gonna be the easiest thing to do no matter what, but those games and more have a lot more effort being put into them mechanically whereas with stages and characters in X DiVE they don't change much in terms of overall gameplay. I do not doubt that there can be enough Mega Man modders and developers out there that can at least replicate the simplistic style of X DiVE and with it working in a simpler mobile environment, again unlike Mega Man 11 which does have a lot more going for it from a mechanical and software standpoint. As for Stellaris, from what I can see that's because the game has a more specific niche. (Not just because it's a strategy game, but also because it's an indie title) It's not even fair to compare with Mega Man since it is a much bigger franchise with a diehard fanbase. To be honest I've never even heard of that game until you mentioned it, but thanks for bringing it to my attention!

This video was very much NEEDED for us MegaMan fans alike,especially for those(including myself)who never got to play the game. The roster for this game is much more insane than I thought.Sure,many are just one character but with different armors/aesthetics but even then,it's still to see many varieties nonetheless. I also love the original Dive characters...well,most of them to be exact. The Dive armours are such cool additions into the game.They look sleek and so cool. The seasonal ones are also cute and pretty sweet(I especially love the Festive characters lol,they even do the dance too). The best of all has got to be the crossover.Heck,we even got the characters from other series as well. The crossovers armours,though,has got to be the highlight of the show. Rathalos X,Crimson Valstrax Zero,Dante Trigger X and Vergil Trigger Zero are just straight up INSANE. Overall,thank you so much for the showcase.I also appreciate the fact that you showed a small clip on the right as to what some characters are referencing. Can't forget the memes too hahahaha

Yeah, it's kinda crazy how ZX only gets 3 unique reps and one of them is just the same character still. Prometheus and Grey shoulda made it in at some point over the years but ig they wouldn't be profitable enough.

Megaman Starforce deserved more representation. In terms of characters there is Taurus Fire, Dark Phantom, Joker, Acid Ace. And if they just wanted more Megaman they could’ve used Red Joker and Black Ace forms

Hadouken was from Megaman X1. X3 doesn't have any references to SF as the Hidden Upgrade was replaced by Golden Armor.

For everyone in the comments, Dive is coming back, Megaman DiVe Offline will be coming out with everything that they had with the Online version, plus more costumes and charactors to play as, so this may be the final for Online, Offline will be adding more

On a different note, the characters I wish to had seen in the Game: Classic Duo, Cut Man, Quick Man, Quint X Douglas, Spider, Red, Blade Armor X Zero Fefnir, Phantom, Elpizo, Craft, Omega (not Omega Zero), Neige ZX/A Prometheus, Ashe, Atlas (Model F) Grey (Model A) I know pretty much nothing about Legends and Starforce, so I can’t imagine what characters are missing from those games 😅 And I only played Battle Network 1 & have yet to see what the rest of the series has to offer, so I don’t know for that one either 😅 Except Glyde. He seemed pretty cool (though his role was very minor, he was the only Navi without a Robot Master Counterpart in 1) so he would have been nice to see.

For ZX rep they chose Aile and Pandora. Awesome. For ZXA they chose. . . Aile again. Would it have killed them to chose Grey and/or Prometheus? They could have at least completed the set of siblings.

I have never seen anything regarding Mega man X DiVE. Even in here the mega man series they cannot escape the gacha being flooded with cute outfits for female characters. Never change gacha games 🙏
