Yeah I'm pretty sure Burner Man is meant to be the nightmare boss to end all nightmare bosses. Nothing about him or his stage allows you to relax at all. Even for casual gamers like me who usually don't do self-imposed challenges he is absolutely brutal.

44 attempts? Woah. I know that feeling of trying and trying for countless hours too well. The worst was probably when it took me 8-9 hours of nonstop playing to complete the second speedrun (Jacknife) in Mirror's Edge, taking breaks only to eat. But hey, it feels awesome when you finally do it. Thanks for uploading, I enjoy these runs very much.

In this case... each attempt took under 5 minutes, so likely around 3.5 hours of attempts total. I just did a bunch of attempts, took a long break to get other work done, tried some more, took another break, etc. That way it was at least still fun to keep trying, as I do NOT keep playing if a game is frustrating me.

Okay, to be fair, at that time I was thinking the same, that taking on Burner Man would be brutal with Bass, considering that precise double jump. Now I know better. Actually it's possible to dodge the Bear Trap + Wave Burner combination by double jumping behind Burner Man before he does the Wave Burner and keep double jumping him before he turns out to keep him missing you. That really cuts on a lot of the trickyness on the boss. My sincere credits to Erik Red on KZbin that helped pointing this out.

Double tap? Mega Man & Bass has it's own button for dashing tho! Also, I really enjoyed the stage. Burner Man himself is a really awesome boss, especially if you're looking for a challenge. His weakness also doesn't break him, which is good. Best way to beat him is to keep your distance. Either slide or double jump if he tries diving at you. Otherwise, you're pretty well off and have loads of time to avoid his flame horn.

Robot master weapons are needed to damage a certain boss and to prevent two other bosses from using full-screen attacks. There is also a part in the first King Stage where you cannot destroy an enemy before it hits you without a robot master weapon.

Dude I'm sorry NO WAY IN HELL no matter how good you are at this game, can any human finish these levels all perfect runs with Bass and just buster. NO MATTER WHAT. Unless you do it live and not off a direct recording there's no way to tell you're not cheating.
