These remind me of the Retro Roto figures from a few years back. They were starting to do robot master figures but cancelled wave 2. Lets hope this line or Jakk's continues and they start making more figures based on more characters from the series. Scored Normal Mega Man and Dr. Wily from this set.

I do hope that if we do get robot masters, they don't just say "here's mega man 1....bye" but like, give us a variety. Because I feel like whenever we do get RMs, it's the same old "cutman, elec man, guts man, stop". Give us MM2 and 3 robots. There's 12 main series games, do an assortment.

All I know is I'd kill for a good Woodman figure. In fact my ideal wave 2 would be Protoman, Bass, Roll, and Woodman, with maybe another color MM as a chase.

Tons of companies have made articulated Mega Man figures. Plenty of companies have made articulated Robot Masters. No one, and I mean NO ONE, has made a complete set of Robot Masters in a consistent, articulated style. Not even the Original Six. Funko, you have a super easy task ahead of you.

I can't help but suspect this line is dead due to the first wave of being multiple repaints of Rock and a solitary Dr. Wily. Like they could have done an assortment of Robot Masters with weapons that can peg in, but nope.

Why is it so damn hard for toy companies to just make a bunch of figures of robot masters? The Ruby Spears based Mega Man line is still to this day the most complete Mega Man action figure series for this very reason.

Ya I going to keep my eye out for these because I keep missing out of every Megaman toyline that starts up and I want to finally get the blue boomer in plastic form, and I hope to see at least a wave 2 with some robot master and maybe Roll or Dr. Light.

So Dan, I think the reason the eye paint is outside the eye sculpt a bit on every Mega Man, is because it looks like they changed the shape of the eyes between the sculpting phase and the painting phase. If you look closely, the actual eye paint is slightly taller and thinner than the eye sculpt, which is a bit shorter and wider.

Bandai gave us the Ruby Spears line. Guts Man, Cut Man, Proto, Rush, Roll, Wily, Quick Man, Ice Man, Bomb Man. They're pricy these days though.

Here we have Mega man, followed by Mega man, and whatdya know here's another Mega man, and yet another Mega man... I passed on these and got the giant Jakks Pacific 30th anniversary Mega man instead, which was marked down to 20 bucks. Don't get me wrong I think these look great but it seems like the quality of everything Funko makes (outside of Pops and Hikaris) has basically become bootleg cheap. Some of the appendages in various toys I've gotten from them broke without force (which I guess doesn't matter if you never intend on removing them from packaging). I know that's mostly the fault of the manufacturer but ya gotta cover all of your bases. Great review Dan.

it bothers me why the hell did they decided to just use the same mold of megaman and painting it of another color, some will say to save money, i would say it is lazyness, there are a lot of characters that they could have done but instead they did that, well atleast dr wily looks pretty good, i would have liked to see protoman, roll, rush, dr light or a cool robot master that hasnt been made.

I get why they're doing the Mega Man variants but come on, at least give them some accessories. The lack of stuff to go with these figures is pretty bad. Each variant should have a clip on blast or a leaf shield or something. These are too basic.
