In Mega Man & Bass, there's an upgrade which lets you recover weapon ammo when getting hit, and there's another upgrade which lets you recover HP while you don't move. With these two, Mega Man never has to worry about not having enough ammo... as long as there's a place to stand still for a while, and a reliable source of hits (preferably a weak enemy).

That's why I usually stayin the lower part, where are the, uh... "tapeworm generators," to farm for weapon supply. Not going to sugarcoat here, though, it's annoying.
