Not sure if someone mentioned this already, but in the future you should consider not using a dark-color font (such as the dark blue for Mega Man) on a black background. Always use light colors. To add to that, when you're using character portraits for dialogue, there's no need to change the colors of the text. It could just be white.

Oh I'm aware, if there were canon like this I sure would have loved to play it! That said there's something in the canon worth remembering - the little known bridge between classic and X, as well as the fact that the years end in XX, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that events unfold at the end of one century and into the next. Currently working on Part IV (schedule's been super tight - I have a lot done but development has been slooooow), hope you stick around for the next two. I break canon way worse than a couple character appearances hahaha. I have the whole series (7 or 8 parts, depends on how long some battles run) written out already, and the ending will not only be mind-blowing, but actually makes a ton of sense! Stefan Njomo The story itself is great, it makes perfect sense to me, I like the originality, the animation is stellar and the sounds are on point. i myself want to get into animation and even sprite animation one day. It doesn't matter if you break cannon, a good story is a good story even if it doesn't fit with what we know of the franchise (however if you believe you can make your story cannon to the megaman/x/z/zx series, I'd be impressed to see it.) I hope you will continue to make these videos even after this series is over.

+Stephan Hartforfd - I recognize some of it so I'll do my best but the beginning fight is from FFVI final boss theme. Where they chase after Sigma I think is also FFVI too but I don't remember it entirely. Around 3:50 is FFVI too. 4:18 is FFIV. For 7:44 and for the next two minutes or so is from Megaman Zero (which part, I don't remember). From 10:10 and beyond is FFIV elemental boss theme. Hope that helps. Thanks, Me too. The series is on life support so I'm working on a 7-part "origin story" that creatively narrates the transition from classic to X. The first three are actually the worst ones, as I used them to warm myself up after a long hiatus. You'll notice a casual uptick in quality as it goes on. Since you say this is your start, you've already hit the ground running. These are good in comparison to most people who start out. I've subscribed, so I'll just await for the video to pop up in my feed. I think you made good choices with music too. The sprites from different games don't clash either which is a good thing. Sometimes one can be more pixelated than others, but I don't see that too much here. I am a little confused how this is supposed to be an origin story when these characters are already fighting future bosses and things like Zero having a sensei. I don't understand it too much, but I'm following for the entertainment, so it's not a big deal. Just keep it up!

I am also a huge megaman fan. It's literally to the point where I want to make megaman fan games...at the moment I'm trying to make a series called Megaman X Fusion. At the moment I am currently designing maverick bosses and stages...and I just got started making stages for X Fusion 5. However I still need to redesign the mavericks to make them look better.

Big fan of The X and Zero series. But what on earth is the plot to this? Why is megaman in this? X is his evolved form so I'm just confused about it. All the mash up of characters you put in the next 3 episodes lol. It just makes no sense to put them all in the same timeline like this. Mega man wouldn't be able to hurt any reploid. His buster is futile in X's time. Heck, some of the enemies X encounters can't be touched by his buster until he is fully upgraded in his own time. All the characters from Mega Mans time wouldn't be able to do anything in the time of Sigma's reign. Although none of this makes any sense, I appreciate the idea. Not sure why this series is called Origin of X either. Doesn't seem to have much emphasis on his character.

Thinking too much. Just because his buster was weak in that one cartoon doesn't make it true across all official (and fan) canons. X is a separate robot, not an upgraded form. The story is called Origin of X because it covers a transition from classic to x, as they both existed at the same time (both being made by dr light). Just enjoy the story and judge at the end. An origin story about x being built would be boring. This is about his coming to age as the hero and veteran maverick hunter X, and Mega Man's final battle. It's called Mega Man, not Mega Man X : Origin of X, so even though X is in the subtitle (and will play a huge role as you'll see later), this is still a Mega Man story. That said, I've been interested in continuing it with a Mega Man X story after. Either way, thanks for the comment, you're clearly as passionate about mega man as I am so I hope you stick with the story through the end (ten parts), would like to see what you think of the entire thing. The X series starts with the birth of x having happened at least 200 before. Dr. light is no longer in the picture outside of his AI version. X goes back in time in the TV series at some point, but not in the actual game series. During X's time an incident occurred where an unknown computer virus came from space and caused robots to become violent and riotous, Dr. Light completed the battle robot “X” worrying about the future of Earth. Hypothesizing X could battle robots infected by viruses, he gave X the perfect virus counter-measure. Meanwhile Dr. Light developed a great number of armors, but this presented the possibility of X becoming a threat to mankind. To confirm the safety of X’s cognition program, Dr. Light sealed away X in an analysis capsule. 1XX years ago The birth of Zero Zero was produced by Dr. Wily, who schemed at taking over the world. But he contained a flaw in his cognitive program that made him violent and unwilling to obey instructions, so Dr. Wily himself sealed Zero in a capsule. 1XX years ago X is discovered by Dr. Cain, having been buried underground for 100 years." So all of the Mechanaloids most likely got infected and killed each other, as well as try to slaughter the human race. Was Mega Man turned into a violent, crazy killing machine? We don't know. But it is clear that he is not a reploid and him and the characters of his time are far too inferior to fight off anything in X's time. They -also- talked, in the Art Books, about how it was Dr. Light's fault. He created X with a 'suffering circuit' that was reproduced incorrectly by Dr. Cain, which means that the Maverick Virus didn't exist before reploids. Proto Man had a nuclear power cell, so unless he was fully repaired by Dr. Light or another scientist of equal or greater skill he'd have run out of power. Auto had a cameo appearance in X3 which only confuses me MORE. I know it is easy to get defensive about your own work, but I thought you should know some of the facts. Fun stuff you've done here, but it would never fit into the actual universe in any logical way.

I appreciate the history lesson, I already knew most of that. Your argument is flawed completely because of one false assumption - You're assuming I'm trying to make something that fits into the actual universe. In these animations there are characters across the Mega Man franchises, and from..... Groove Adventure Rave.. no one is trying to recreate the official series canon here. It's just a fan-animated sprite flick. Admittedly the subtitle I chose for it would make more sense upon seeing the second half of the series and not so much in the first, but I pay my dues with the occasional tough guy comment from "series purists" with something to prove like you lol. It's no big deal. It's a very interesting choice for a subtitle. You've built a strawman (that I'm for some reason trying to narrate official canon events) and are being incredibly condescending for no reason at all (ironic as you actually have no way to prove you're a "bigger" fan than me or vice versa -regurgitating lore from artbooks or wiki doesn't make you or me a "bigger" fan). Just enjoy the animation and comment a fight request or something. It's not that serious. I've played the vast majority of the games (across all series), I know the timeline, I'm neither confusing nor trying to rewrite series history. I should clarify that I'm in no way offended at all by the criticism, I'm basically saying to you what I say to every person with the same opinion - it's quite clear that characters from different eras are present (as well as different series altogether) - pointing out canon inaccuracies is fine as a joke, but totally unnecessary and low hanging fruit in the manner that you did. That was neither a light criticism (your school assignment research paper on the series history is by far the longest comment across any of my videos) nor a discussion where you're in position to tell me to relax a little bit (see point about your history lesson, I should be telling you to relax). Imagine your history lesson comment posted in response to someone's fanfic, sounds ridiculous right? That's what you're doing here. I've played every Classic and X game, and the vast majority of the rest of the series. The lore is fairly simple to follow, and I've been actively engaged with the series, making mega man flashes for years now. I think I deserve the "benefit of the doubt" from those who "know a thing or two" about the series that I'm not making any official claims on the canon, and that this is just a series for fun (I enjoy making, and others enjoy watching) and nothing more. I'm aware you've come down from your overreaction state as this latest reply is more reasonable than the previous ones - but it doesn't change the fact that you definitely overreacted (and provided me a good laugh), so stealing my line with your last sentence there doesn't make you "the civil one" here.
