So I decided I will release a preview this month for you guys. It's so awesome to finally be working on this again - there's animation that I've been sitting on for quite a while now that I'll show you guys. I've updated the video description, but I'll pull various scenes from the first two thirds of the movie and splice it together. I figure this is the best way to keep you guys interested because in my time away I've come up with several ideas, most of which I'm going to implement. Part IV will be great! I will have the demo out for you guys this month. The actual movie should follow not too long after. I want to extend it with an exciting train scene that I have outlined. All the resources are already animated, so it's a matter of putting it together (no small feat, but still moves a lot faster). I'm also strongly considering a two vs one (x and zero vs reaver - look him up he has a mugen sheet), but I'll see how the full movie looks before I add it in. I think it would be an exciting way to cap off the defense by X and Zero while Mega Man holds off Eregion.... You'll see in the preview. I'm also up to implement some fan-requested battles. As long as there's a strong 32-bit sprite sheet available for the character, I have flexible story space to write it in. Thanks for subscribing! I appreciate you guys following the series.

Working on Part IV as I type this! My schedule has finally opened up and it's moving along very nicely! I have a question - Do you guys have any preferences on length as long as it's good? I'm thinking of letting IV run somewhere close to 15 minutes, but I don't want that to be overkill.

***** without giving things away, something is building up that will set the stage for the X canon to carry on like we know it. I'm just adding a few of my own little personal references (Breath of Fire, another Capcom gem - for instance... Moreso later on) along the way because I know I can make it work. I actually already have the entire story outlined, so trust me when I say it'll all work out and make perfect sense in the (epic) end. It's just hard to see right now because many people have a hard time looking at the canon from a different lens. Ok I'll be honest -- That, and the appearance of characters from X / Zero / Classic, andddd random characters from Groove Adventure Rave hahaha. But seriously, I know it's weird seeing characters from the Zero series, I'm stretching realllllly hard with Harpuia, Fefnir, and co, but trust me on the X series characters. If one thinks outside the box (I'll leave a little hint, 20XX and 21XX), one could come up with a scenario where events in both centuries aren't all that far from each other. If it's too difficult I gave an answer to someone else who commented, though I think that was in part 1's section. I have a preview for Part IV coming out in the next couple of weeks, I hope you continue to watch. The first three parts kind of serve as a rust shaker for me, if you watch the preview I release soon, you'll notice things start going balls to wall. Thanks for the view Mine, appreciate it. 2B

If omega could be implemented into the story that would be cool. But what interests me is the fact that you left out the fourth of the guardians leviathan. It will be interesting to see if leviathan will create a more powerful form when they all fuse or if you leave her out all together.

Planning for Leviathan to appear in part V. A base in a hidden amazon territory is discovered in IV which provides me an opening to incorporate some water-based settings.I'll see what I could do with Omega. There's a cooler, more malicious, familiar yet very obscure (Mega Man X era) villain coming that not even the biggest Mega Man fan would be able to guess!

I have strong Breath of Fire references in there, and the main antagonist of #2 is a guy from Groove Adventure Rave, so I will say I'm flattered that "What happened to the Robot Museum" is one of the forefront questions you have. 2 - I have a very, very huge surprise planned at the end, and giving away this detail doesn't really risk it, so why not. The last two digits of the year in Mega Man games are always told to the player in XX form. Is it really far fetched to say this is year 2098, or 2099? That way a transition into the X story (which is coming, I promise you "Origin of X" is in no way, shape or form a misname - Just give me time to complete all seven or 8 parts. IV is coming 6/29/14) doesn't look as ridiculous featuring Mega Man, X and Zero. 3 - I thank you for asking this question, because I suppose that means you watched all three, and decided to hold your comments until this one. First off, thanks for watching. It's sort of implied with cooler designs, increasingly badass armor upgrades for X, and even power level displays at the end of SNES X games (!!!) that Mega Man shouldn't be able to hold an X character's jockstrap. But never in any canon (and no, the Ruby Spears Mega Man isn't canon!!!) is an explicit difference in power level range stated. Though to be fair, it's always a total team effort. Also, an advancement in time doesn't always dictate that the current hero needs to be much stronger than protagonists past. Zero has no problem handling enemies in Mega Man X, and a century later in Mega Man Zero, if we go by an end of 20XX, start of 21XX timeline, it shouldn't be too far fetched to see Mega Man able to defend himself with assistance. 4 - Fair point. It always depends on how you look at it. If the games want you to ignore the fact that you're destroying these bosses twice (who rebuilds them so quickly?), or the fact that Wily must have some damn good lawyers (not every game is "Wily broke out of prison again!", even if it was all 10 Mega Man's must take place in a hyperbolic time chamber), I can be afforded the freedom to not have to worry about one mid-game level in Mega Man 7. For the narrative's sake though, let's say that robots deemed valuable for helping Repliforce protect the peace were re-activated. Others like Pharoah Man or Shadow Man who didn't commit any crimes of mayhem or violence, were given their freedom due to the circumstances dictating Dr. Wily as the sole criminal. That's off the top of my head : It's a start, but I can write in an adapted version of that if it would make things clearer. I'm glad you consider a Mega Man nerd, but you're not on my level! A true Mega Man fan allows for interpretation. Don't be so black and white about it that you miss an easy (and fun deduction if you come up with it on your own) like this story taking place in the year 2099, right before 21XX. Capcom made the years ambiguous like this to give them freedom when making the games. Us fans should be given the same freedom when making fan-works! I truly hope you stick around to see this through. My schedule is busy, but I'm trying to have IV out by the end of the month, and it's looking way better than this!

I did not know that dragon was from Megaman (I'm referring to the whole universe). I first saw a recoloured version of it it in the Aquablade chronicles as Roboblade's Uber form.

I'll definitely continue. I've been pretty busy with other things but IV (which is moving along quite nicely, and already is better than the first three combined) and beyond are definitely coming.I'm not worried about the negative, something wouldn't be right if no one was pointing out some of the elements obviously thrown in for my own personal satisfaction haha. Just for you I might throw out a little demo or trailer to let people know it's ONNNNNN

I have no idea who these new characters are or where they're from, but I don't mind them. That sheath move against X was pretty cool. Still hoping X actually gets some cool stuff to do. That Dark Blue text for Megaman is really hard to read.

I realized the text was becoming a problem so I re-did it for 4. I'm giving Mega Man the light blue, and I'm giving X a bluish green similar to the secondary tint on his armor. X will get plenty of cool stuff, this is a Mega Man story about him! But like I said, the first three parts serve as a warm-up / introduction. Everything will make sense in due time! I say that because the cartoon is the strongest impression the majority of people have of a what-if crossover, when I believe the gear systems introduced in MM11 (and will be in part v, which I'm working on right now) can allow MM to hold his own a bit. I think the fandom has too much of a DBZ-like mentality, believing that the mere presence of someone like Vile should make Mega Man collapse into himself lol. I take more of a Naruto / Boku like approach to power if that makes sense. I appreciate you watching, I'm hard at work on getting the next part out, hope you check it out!

Zero has a "sensei" now?! Good god, what type of shit storyline is this?? The animation is fun, but the story is now horrendous. Should I wate for the chocobo to make a guest appearance from Final Fantasy?! Will Jean Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal be training "X and Megaman" next, between doing Tae Bo and Zoomba? What is this BULLSHIT of "humans" being able to have "super powers" to control the robots? Awful! Make it stop!! This storyline is fucking insulting and a disgrace to Megaman. Ugh.

Yooo this comment made me LMAO. I need a second. OK. I'll give away a bit of what's to come to reassure you that this story is 100% Mega Man through and through. Those guys (at the very beginning and end) are "Dragonbrood" (like Ryu from Breath of Fire) -- If those "humans" can overcome the things they did in those games, I'm pretty sure they can hold their own against a pre-veteran (or "young") X and Zero. Ever wonder what would happened if Gate, (armored?) Vile, and Double said to hell with this one on one nonsense and attacked all at once?
