In the Japanese Version the Grab Buster is called Snatch Buster, also if you game over i think at least 4 times on the same stage, you get a upgrade for your mega arm that makes it faster and if get another 4 game overs on the same stage, it makes your mega arm even faster

I think it's funny that Venus is a male robot. You would think Venus would be female since it's named after a goddess. I kind of see the themes in these levels. Neptune is water-themed, since Neptune is the God of the Sea. Mars is war-themed, since Mars is the God of War. Pluto is underground-themed, since Pluto is the God of the Underworld. Jupiter ironically has low gravity given that's the planet with the most gravity! But the other levels don't seem to have any theme to them whatsoever.

It's cool they did something different. I was expecting it to be a mashup of the NES games like the other Mega Man Gameboy games.

I wonder if the problems you mentioned with the game crashing is why CornShaq used the Super Gameboy version when he did his play it through of this game?

Something tell me that you set everything in GB mode since that game is using the Super Game Boy colors by default.

I don't think it's the ROMs, I think it's the emulator you were using. If every ROM you tried gave you bad results, it might have been a good idea to try a different emulator. Because boy howdy, is there something WRONG with this. I'm listening to the music and sound effects and there are SERIOUS discrepancies with my experience with this game - which is extensive, as it's my most-played GB Mega Man game, on actual hardware and emulation. And so much of this is NOT how it's supposed to sound. Many sound effects and several music tracks have problems, and there are sound artifacts at boss defeat that I've never heard in any playthrough before. There's far too many issues to highlight all of them, but particularly the section of Mar's track at 10:35-10:42 is so wildly distorted that it makes me cringe. (ETA: OH GOD the lasers at 25:28 are even worse! What the heck happened?!) I was astonished you referenced MMII with the music because I think the music production for this game is the best of the Game Boy series, but if this is what you were listening to then that starts to make sense. I urge you to watch another playthrough to hear what it's supposed to sound like (I have one on my channel but my ghastly mic from 10 years ago is probably too off-putting, but there's plenty more out there).
