I love all 3 SoR games and soundtracks.. even the 3rd one... i am a sound junkie, so i like the chaos of it... although i'd have to agree SoR2 ost is the most memorable, all are timeless in my opinion

Awesome channel. Bought 2 boxed Sega Megadrive games complete with manuals from the video game shop near where I work today. I bought Alex Kidd In The Enchanted Castle, and Super Wrestle Mania. Really happy to add these titles to my Sega Mega Drive collection.

The Mega Drive is still my favourite system. I had a complete set last year but I decided to sell off everything that I wasn't interested in...still ended keeping a good 200 odd games (including Wily Wars!). The Mega Drive library is just that good!

Mega Man: The Wiley Wars! I was excited when they announced the official special edition repro last month. It will be the first time it's officially released in North America (the Sega Channel version doesn't count!) I'm glad that I'll actually get to play a physical version, as emulating it just never seemed to work right...

My fave, the megadrive! 😍 I definitely need to add to mine, you've got some good looking games there! I couldn't live without sonic 2 and streets of rage 2 on the Megadrive. Streets of rage 2 being my fave game of all time along with the original metal gear solid

The SNES and Genesis versions of Aladdin were vastly different games if I'm not mistaken, however the genesis version had a DOS port

No e collection. I think repros are fine if you are happy to have them. I just dropped 600 on Pirates of Dark Water and I doubt many would do that. But it's a good game and so a repro is a must if you want to experience the physical without paying a month's rent for it.

Loving vid spent many a nite as a kid on megedrive recently got a few consoles and few games but got quite afew mega carts and everdrive so I now spend a few enjoyable hrs playing games great stress reliving personally think megadrive is under estimated for me it's great affordable system

I was against repros but like you I have let in a couple into my collection. None on megadrive, but a couple on super Nintendo. I do want some repros though and that will be a 2022 resolve for me. Mostly Japanese megadrive titles that cost 500 and up.

Mega Man Wily Wars? That one is pretty much the most expensive game on the Mega Drive and costs about a whole months wages to buy. My fave games on the system are Sonic 1 and 2, Road Rash 2 and SOR 2. If I was to pick which was the best between the Mega Drive and SNES I simply wouldn't be able to now as they are 2 of the best consoles of all time.

Absolutely nothing wrong with a repro when you know it's a repro when you buy it. Especially for very high price games, personally would only buy repro versions of £100 plus titles

Yes I played Street of Rage 2 all the time. One of my favourite games on the Sega Mega Drive. Have been playing it recently on The Sega Mega Drive collection on the PS4.

I can see if people who are collectors don't like reproductions because they want the real deal, but I just like playing games so I don't mind if I'm playing a reproduction. Snatcher on Sega Cd costs just as much as a new PS4 or PS5. I'd rather have a new PS5. You have a nice collection of games. Thanks for sharing them with us.

One of my favs is Rolling Thunder 2 and the amiga game Chaos Engine which was ported to mega drive loved it spent hours on them both

Gemma I don't think there a Sega fan who has not played streets of rage 2 lol and streets of rage 3 I'm not a big fan of but now it's the most expensive to buy when I went to Comic-Con with my girlfriend I seen it there and they wanted at the time £95 for it I remember jungle strike in Sega force magazine when they give it reviews it had 97%all round out of 100 and I must say you have a very nice collection there keep them coming.

About the repros, i dont have problems with them, if they're made well and if the original boxed game it is very expensive. Wow, i didnt know that existed a dungeon & dragons game for the genesis!

Great video Gemma, I was a Sega fan right to the end so love the Mega Drive. You have a super collection, SOR 2 was the best of the 3. Micro Machines was amazing especially 96 with the track construction.

I actually once found a snes copy of boogerman in a car my dad bought whilst hoovering it out it was the funniest thing my 12yo self has seen on a video game, my grandad was appalled 🤣

The Japanese version of streets of rage 3 is much better, to the point that it's hard for me to choose between Bare knuckle 3 and streets of rage 2. But it's probably hard to get cartridge these days without paying a lot.

Reproductions are fine if they were not released in a certain region. Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles was suppose to be one game but SEGA told them after to split the game in half after the delay to 1994 and the MJ controversy as well.

As much as I love streets of rage 2 I do think it's very overrated for me it's the worst of the three but still very good

I still haven't got a copy of Tanglewood yet although I picked up a physical copy of Xenocrisis as soon as it was released, amazing game! Regarding repros I think high quality ones are fine, its the cheap aliexpress/chinese knock-offs I'd steer clear of. Good luck with the move btw, I was a little late but managed to watch your original video the other day.

I'm not against repros when I can't get a super expensive Japanese game with beautiful cover artwork (e.g. Alisia Dragoon, Steel Empire...) or some custom European "reissues" of other rare games (Gleylancer, MUSHA...).

That's a great Mega Drive collection! I've only recently started collecting for the system and I didn't have one as a kid (had a PS1 instead) so I'm experiencing a lot of these great games for the first time at the moment, such a shame SEGA don't make systems anymore.

Zero Tolerance was my first FPS. I reacquired it as a loose copy a few years ago. It still runs at a smooth 10 frames per second.

I'm glad they added Mega Man: The Wily Wars on the Genesis Mini since the game never had a physical release here in the States. The Mini version has a bit of a delay, but every emulation I ever played of it before always seemed a bit twitchy, I think because the ROM was original programmed for a 50hz PAL display. I loved the Mega Man games on the NES as a kid and was disappointed Capcom never updated them for a 16 bit console like Super Mario All-Stars.

Here in my country the mega drive was very successful, there is a company called tec toy and Sega's partner until today, and the mega drive sold here called 2017, I really like the mega drive here in my collection I have 2 European games (Portugal) the another 83 are Japanese and American continent (Brazilian).
