Mega Man X: Command Mission - Part 27: Attack of the Giant Mettaur & Fire Glob EXP Trick

This is the cool but pointless episode, almost bonus episode material. We discover the Mettaur Gigant behind the locked door in Gimialla Mines, and then learn about a neat little trick about the Fire & Plasma Globs to gain more EXP and FME respectively quickly.
By the way, I found a simpler method to utilize the Fire Glob trick without using up so many resources. Equip Zero, X, and Marino with fire type weapons and have them just attack the Fire Globs with everything you got until they have been hit 6 times. Now you can kill them with X Fire, or if you want even more EXP, have everyone keep defending until the turn order looks like: Marino/Zero, Marino/Zero, X. Now you can get another 2 hits off and still manage to kill them with X Fire before they run away. I got about 13,000 EXP each time doing this.

You could've easily defeated the Mettaur Gigant by stealing the Tank Energy 10 with Marino's I'll Take That Attack because he exposes himself after you steal from him, thus cutting off his defense. Then everyone can bash him easy. Just thought I'd relay that trick.

Hey ShadowRock, I'm enjoying this LP of yours, always nice to meet a fellow Mega Man fan (especially one that appreciates the Battle Network series). As far as the Mettaur Gigant goes, you need to steal his Tank Energy 10 from him. After that he won't run away & be able to take full damage from attacks. Otherwise he's gone after 7 turns.
