Sadly, that's the best part of this game. Even for a gacha game, it's pretty shitty gameplay wise. At least the artwork/models look really good. You can tell the artists were true fans of the series.

Magma Dragoon it's the only minor boss so relevant to appear in this game, personally i wish more Mavericks got into, and Robot Masters like Fireman, Airman, Geminiman, Pharaohman, Tenguman.

I really wouldn't call Magma Dragoon a minor boss. Not only is he one of the 8 Mavericks in MMX4, but he is the ONLY Maverick to have a dialogue to the heroes after he is defeated. Plus, he is one of the person who is responsible for setting things in motion in MMX4's story.

Despite X Dive being a pretty lame gacha game, I have to give my respect to their artists, animators and modelers. These look fantastic, and are better than whatever Capcom delivered for the series in the last 15+ years (I like MM11, but those 3D models looked pretty bad). So many references and new costumes that expand on these characters' established visuals, such as the seasonal outfits. The animations are beautiful, with tons of references to the many games in the series, and they managed to replicate each series' distinct artstyle greatly. Sometimes I find myself downloading this again just to play with the models a bit. I eventually uninstall it after a tasting a bit of the gameplay, tho. Still, I'm glad this game exists.

There are good examples like Fate Grand Order, Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact and Punishing Gray Raven that manage to deliver good gameplay + narrative and with nice production values to boot. That's why this game feels lame compared even to contemporary gacha games.

@@victorteste5325 I totally forgot about Genshin. Thanks. I honestly have little reference to go on. idk about the others except genshin and Fate GO. Fate GO has often has some good writing, (though it does vary from arc to arc). Though its gameplay is kinda.... meh.. (And for the money Fate GO rakes in ,the production value funding writing and other bits can afford to keep cycling. ) but this one? I doubt it had much in the way of financial resources. firstly, it suffers from lack of Waifus or women in general... Megaman has an intense fan base and Capcom recently began to see that they can market it, but that audience wasn't really a target market for a gacha. There will be overlap but it's not as much as say with fans of Fate. So unlike Fate or genshin I doubt Capcom or whoever was commissioned is actually throwing much money at this at all, and I doubt Capcom would even pump the profits back into it. That's my theory at least.

I just had an epiphany. The servobots are the inspiration for the minions. OMG. Minion's first appearance: July 9, 2010 (Despicable Me) Servobots first appearance: December 18, 1997 (Megaman Legends) Both are mechanical servants, built on mass, to help an villains that's not so villain. They both have round/cilindrical yellow body/head and are playfull.

well its odd, the reason their legs under the knee look the way they do is because of gyros aka its how they keep balanced in bipedal walking, just figuring they made a small more than likely weaker aka not good for noncivilian rolls model, thats also unarmored. IIRC X's data outline showed 3 gyros 2 in the legs, and one in the chest

Y'know the thing that surprises me the most is the fact that they have skin and even physics to show off. I always just assumed only the face was made to look like a human color-wise but the swimsuits and seasonal outfits like Leviathan's proved me wrong apparently. Heck Layer and Palette even have line segments. Makes me wonder if that's how most humanoid Reploids are created or if that kinda production happened later on. And just how relationships whether romantically or otherwise worked when one or more members are a Reploid

@@StriderVM Oh I don't doubt it being fan-service at all LMAO. I just find it interesting that they still had those physics/'skin' to show off. The physics I'm convinced is fanservice especially with the animations of seasonal Alia and Layer's default, but the skin bit can actually even be noticed with Cinnamon from Command Mission; she's wearing black leggings of sorts but her thighs, which has the same color as her face, are partially exposed. So it still has me wondering regarding how Reploids are actually produced considering they even have DNA of sorts.

I think the skin showing was an attempt for the reploids to appear more human to the humans. Giving them a more human like image distinguishes themselves from mechanaloids so people are most likely more inclined to treat them as actual people instead of robots with brains

So let's make it happen: If they still don't have it, add all the armors from the series, X1 to X8, for X, Zero and Axl; They have Bit, mid-boss from X3, so they could just add: - Byte, Bit's partner (MMX3); - Mid-bosses X-Hunters from MMX2 Agile, Violen and Serges; - Mid-bosses/hunters from Xtreme series, Zain and Geemel (Xtr 1), and villains Berkana and Gareth from Xtr 2; - High-Max from MMX6; - Spider, the only playable character from Command Mission still to be added to DiVE; Since they have Sigma, Vile and Gate, the villains, why not have: - Red, MMX7 antagonist; - Lumine, MMX8 antagonist; - Dr. Doppler, MMX3 antagonist; - General, from MMX4; They even have Nana, the navigator from Command Mission, so we might also have: - Double, Iris counterpart for X in MMX4; - Middy and Techno, navigator-like figures from Xtreme games; The operator trio from X8 is in, so why not add the rest of the Maverick Hunters staff from Playstation era: - Signas; - Douglas; - some iteration of the Lifesaver; DiVE have very few characters from classic series, so: - Duo from MM8 (playable in Power Fighters); - Auto and his freaking bazooka, as seen in MM8; - King, antagonist from Megaman and Bass; - Quint, 'future' Megaman from the Gameboy game; - the Megaman killers from Gameboy games, Enker (who is also playable in Megaman Soccer by the way), Punk and Ballade; Heck, they even have Bass & Treble as a separate character, so why not add the pets: - Rush, Beat, Treble, Tango, Reggae, Eddie...
