I didn't realize a ver 0.2.1 had been made a bit ago (this video is v0.2) that fixed some of the known bugs (a few crop up near the end of the vid) but none of the patch changes affect gameplay I'll upload this video as is regardless.

I love how this gives X's character a little more personality. We usually just see him in fight or flight mode, so it's nice we get to see a more lighthearted side of him that was really only shown in the Archie Comics.

Tbh, I don't find X and Zero as someone that can be lighthearted. Sure, they can be happy and chill, but with their attitude, I don't find them act or tolerate antics that would usually portrayed comedically in anime.

I don't know when either project started, but this seems like someone loved MMX Corrupted like metroidvana and upgrades and all that, but put the Gameboy spin on it by going with the Megaman Xtreme game style. And I think it's really good!

1:00 I have to say how it would fit X5 or the series in general, as in Zero's route, that scene is the turning point for Zero's character as he learned his origin as a Maverick and X5 confirmed that Zero knows about it while X seems to clueless about his secret. I always view that canonically, despite majorly involve in Repliforce War, X wasn't present when confronting Sigma, probably in different part of Final Weapon.

The problem with X series is that it doesn't have character interactions like in the zero series where you can talk with the resistance. If we had an X game like this, this can open to how things are dealt with between humans and reploids side of the story
