Well, it is about time to move away from the weakness path... onto the water stage! I am actually going with this one for multiple reasons... One being, Launch Octopus's weapon is pretty decent and I want to get some use out of it before getting a certain something else, second it triggers an effect in Sting Chameleon's stage needed to get the heart tank, and finally I want Boomerang Cutter before going to Stingy, so may as well get this weapon first!
That said, the stage is pretty easy minus one mini-boss that may give some people some unpleasant memories. For a water stage, this place even does not have very many death spikes, but they are still there, so do not get careless! Especially since recklessly dash-jumping in the water physics can be quite fun. Overall, this stage would be really short were it not for the mini-bosses.
Launch Octopus is not the most threatening boss out there... if you avoid using his weakness. Defense is better than offense in this battle as being able to blast away his missiles without wasting ammo is a nice plus. He leaves himself wide open for punishment often enough that the battle is simply dancing back and forth from one side of the room to the other when done smoothly.
