For the latter, it's more like 1v1v2, because Colonel wants to defeat X and Zero, X and Zero need to stop Colonel, and neither side are listened, so K.B is forced to fight both sides.

Even this is a "what if" story of X4, but in Final Weapon Stage, Iris still dies and Zero's famous lines like in the original. But I do like the mechanic on Sigma boss fight phrase 1, 3 heroes (Krot Beret, X and Zero) vs 1 villain (Sigma)! Best final boss fight ever!
