Is there's a thing I never have an answer: Technically speaking, the Resistance are Mavericks?

Technically you could say they are. If your definition of maverick are reploids that are a threat to human safety/go against the will of humans, then the resistance rebelling against the will of Neo Arcadia to terminate reploids in hopes of conserving energy for humans could be considered maverick activity. Though IIRC, the only people who actively threaten humans in the zero series are Elpizo and Craft (and Weil but being maverick is a label specifically for robots so you can't really call him one)
